This is a great park to camp at with plenty of shade which was welcome with the 90° temps this past weekend. The park has beautiful views & is clean & well maintained.

Good walking trails, mostly sand and gravel. It's fun to see all the horses, and lots of wildlife. The reservarion area looks like it needs some help though.

There are a lot of interesting dogs and dog owners that come to the dog park side. Be prepared to deal with mosquitos.

Great place but this review goes out to the gentlemen that grabbed my black lab by the collar. I will be out there next week with my dog weather permitting. If you ever touch my dog again, you will have a problem.

So the river is a bit disappointing, but the trails are well kept and there's even trails for horses (so watch for that). Mostly plains but there's a bit of treecover in various places. Just went for a hike but there's apparently camping spots which looked well kept.
