Recently attended firearms safety training weekend here with my son. What a great experience! What set the class apart were the two main "teachers", Ryan and Chad. They were very knowledgeable and engaging with the kids and adults. It was just the right amount of indoor vs outdoor activities to keep the kids engaged and having fun. The lodge and food were great and the cabins were excellent. My only two suggestions were the bathroom in the lodge had an odd odor all weekend that should be addressed and some longer breaks 20-30 min vs 10 would have been nice throughout the day. Overall it was a great experience that I would highly recommend.
I was here to cut buckthorn today, but I have been to this center before for retreats and it is beaUtiful. The cabins, woods and lodge.
Always impressed by every scout camp that we have signed our troop up with Three Rivers. The last activity was Fire and Food, and I have to say this may be my favorite. The Three River leaders were fantastic and the girls stayed busy the whole time.
SO MUCH FUN! We had such a great experience with our weekend. The cabins were clean and cozy, they had pretty much all the supplies we needed, and they had awesome activities for us to do. My only advice is to bring a dishtowel, and if you have joint trouble with hard beds you probably want to bring some extra padding.
It's always a good time at Baker Park Reserve. My son had a great weekend at camp and met a lot of friends also learned a lot of skills.
I absolutely LOVE this venue! As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of big, glamorous weddings- but a wedding I photographed here at Baker Park was one of my favorites! The ceremony site and lodge are tucked away in the woods, creating a beautiful, natural environment. Plus, the cost is absolutely reasonable and the couple is able to bring in their own food, decorations, etc... Which really helps to save big for a wedding! One thing to keep in mind is that it is an eco-friendly site! If you're planning a small less than 100 wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend looking into Baker Park!
Beautiful area, something for everyone; recreation area, bike trails, fishing, camping, boating, events. I come here in the summer and winter for hikes. Make sure to check out the gorgeous bike trails connected to this park you probably won't find them unless you're looking for them.
It was great, although it would be nice if they added lights to the cabin. Or at least gave you the option to bring a lamp. The dark gloominess was depressing and the led lamp gave me a headache. Otherwise it was great.
Had a great time with our 6th grade class. Our guide, Chad, did a fantastic job. Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff, main lodge has a great kitchen and dining area set up for groups of like 30-70 people, really nice "get-away" environment at such a short distance.
