Connected to them to pay off my small debt I occurred. I originally owed $1500 now it’s $4750. They offered my deal 50% if I paid by the 27th. I could not reach anyone for almost 2 weeks. I reached them finally after leaving numerous emails and voicemails. They told me I was late and added on extra fees to be at $3360 for waiting a week between finalizing my balance. Would not budge at all to the $2300 they originally offered and instead threatened to impound my car. No ifs and ors about it. She doesn’t care at all. Well my car has been sitting broken for over 2 years and undriveable. The supervisor Mabelle has absolutely no professionalism and is a total scammy supervisor. Note to all customers….. don’t try pay them voluntarily. They don’t care at all.
This company is a scam. I returned their call. They said I had an outstanding traffic violation. I suggested that I would call them back later. Once I had said I would call them back, she called again to tell me that I actually had “three” outstanding traffic violations. I called Vancouver Traffic Violation. Gave them my drivers license and they reported I had zero tickets and no outstanding payments. Nada! The Credit Collection caller was out of her mind. She talked over me. I pleaded and begged her to hear me out. She was off her rocker. These are not professional sales call people and they are operating a scam.
The company NAME this debt-buyer uses, is so MISLEADING!! Their name should not be allowed. Also, most private debt never impacts your credit bureau/credit rating. But always check your credit report consumer disclosure to be sure. You are entitled to a free credit bureau report consumer disclosure, every year, from each of the two credit bureau companies Equifax and Transunion in Canada. Get one free report every 6 months, by ordering between Transunion and Equifax. For Transunion order use: ocs.transunion.ca or you’ll get tricked into ordering a monthly monitoring subscription.
Like 94% of the population, I don’t answer unknown numbers, so it is crucial that you make reaching out to you guys a smooth accessible option.. I’ve tried calling this place in order to pay them at least 10 times. I’ve been transferred then dropped, or more often, my calls go to someone named Max Garmin’s voicemail that says he is in the office but can’t take my call… I literally just want to make payment. Tips: 1. Make emailing you an option 2. Make it possible to login securely to view your balance on your website or talk to support via chat 3. Answer phone calls on the first go as the bare minimum
It is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable that this is a BUREAU and no one is picking up the phone and the offices are nowhere to be found. Spent an hour looking around only to find out they had moved TWO YEARS AGO but haven't updated the information on their website or on Google maps. Is it even the official offices or did they outsource another company to do their work? So disappointing and completely unsatisfactory for the CREDIT BUREAU OF CANADA to be this misleading. And then they wonder why so many people owe them... Couldn't pay them even if I wanted to.
Called the agency to ask for some information. The agent I spoke with answered the phone sounding disengaged and not interested in listening to my question. She didn't let me finish my question, cut me off twice when I was trying to ask her a question, told me that I called Collections yes, I know that, that's why I called, and then hung up on me after telling me that I needed to call elsewhere. Your job is probably difficult and frustrating and maybe you dealt with a frustrating individual before me, but please don't take it out on me. If I started the call by being rude to you, by all means have the reaction that you had with me, however, when it takes me three attempts to say "Hi, I was directed to your agency and have a question about property tax and wondering if you're able to help or guide me elsewhere if I'm in the wrong place," due to you cutting me off twice, giving me an answer without listening to me, and then hanging up on me while I'm in mid sentence, that is on you. The reaction was uncalled for.
I talked to Cori Macaraeg and she like to talk over me and argue, of course i lost my cool after her telling me she had no proof that it was not a spam call but kept telling me how bad its going to be for me in which i took a verbal threat. when an agent does not know the laws but the customer does and can quote them to her and she says your wrong.... great place to work for
Never picks a call.. manager specially always voicemail and nevr get back.. please hire some professional people who can atleast help public …
Thanks review I don't know how to start this honest review: I had financial problems in the past like anybody else can have , nobody is expecting calls from collections company for sure ,even though if we realize they are only doing their job , of course some agentes are better that others ,or more friendly . I got a call a week ago and an agent named Douglas in a very professional and friendly way let me know that I had an account that it hasn't been paid and that was the reason my score credit was not getting better, I made arrangements to pay as soon as possible and asked him if it was a way to let me know that my payment was on record and how to know that it was completed , took only hours when I received an email with an attachment , it was my release letter indicating my payment and all the information I was requesting, I have an Equifax account and didn't know what to do , if I had to letting know about this or if the Credit Bureau of Canada Collection was to going to let them know about my case , I called to this company again and a minute later Douglas called me , I explained to him my situation and very friendly he helped me , saying that they're going to send a letter to Equifax. I was so pleased and happy dealing with agents like him and his company , I would definitely recommend talk or get advice from them , I am sure they can help you the same way did to me . Erick H.
Completely useless, argumentative and arrogant customer service. They like to dance around every question possible and not give a real answer, then they will start and blame you for not listening to there random speel that has nothing to do with your question. Clearly you need no education or people skills for a job in the Canadian government.
