Reviews
We tried this place by chance as we were driving by. Outside, the sign reads Crêperie Crémerie. The location is unassuming as it occupies a small space in a strip mall. It has a small terrace out front, where you can enjoy the HOMEMADE GELATO & SORBET.
This review is not about the crêpes or soft serve ice cream typically found in similar establishments located on Samson boulevard. It's about the homemade gelato and sorbet found in the display fridge in the far end of the store.
This homemade gelato was soft and creamy with grown up flavours which were subtle yet very flavourful. The proud owners of this unassuming little shop urged us to try any flavour that we liked and they were all yummy! How to choose?
One of the favourites was the saffron-pistachio which had a hint of rosewater. The match green tea was refreshing, the grape-almond tasted of fresh wine must.
This ice cream does not require chocolate syrup, sprinkles, crushed cookies, or chocolate bars. If you don't like sugary, artificial deserts and want to try something authentic, then this is the place for you.
