Was a good place to go after the hockey game but it was PACKED! So busy after the game. Couldn't get a drink and the men's bathroom lineups were just as bad as in the arena. The casino itself is fine.

We were actually at Brett the Hitman Hart's restaurant inside and it was fantastic! My friend from Toronto flew in and made this a top priority. I can see why after our visit!Would go again next time we are in the city. The service was great and the steak sandwich was fantastic.

I used to like this place , nothing about winning or losing that’s both part of gambling. But now I would said this is the worst casino I’ve ever been. the security are overly rude. They were collecting money box before they close in the high limit room. I was trying to pass by and go to the table I wanted. One of the security told me “stay there” I was confused so asked them why and i said his attitude is terrible and they shouldn’t talk like that. The guy didn’t give a f. I have seen so many times the pit boss and security yelling at people and tell them to shut the door , REALLY?? I’ll never come back to this casino again.

We came to Calgary for spring break and St. Patrick’s day and saw Cowboys Casino and thought it looked like a good time. We were all very wrong, and very disappointed in our time here. Every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly rude and very disrespectful. We walked in and handed the bouncers our ID’s, and they didn’t say anything to us and escorted a couple of us away and wouldn’t tell us why our id’s were being questioned in the first place which yes they were real. We asked what was going on and they just walked away with the IDs. Not a big deal and we made it in. We walk over to the club portion of the casino for the St Patrick’s day event. The bouncers checked my girl friends bags vaguely, but when it came to our guy friends they looked through each pocket and searched through their wallets and was very rude to them about the whole interaction. We make it in and the girl right inside the club doors was the rudest. We were asking questions on where to go and how to proceed into the club and she gave a ridiculous amount of attitude and told us to “find our way to the other line” after already being scanned in? We go to the other line and the woman who scanned our ids for the second time waved her arms in the air after telling her another worker led us to that line, and accused us of sneaking in because we had already scanned in the other line. All we did was explained why we had to come back through, and she made a huge deal about it and almost threw our ids back to us and waved her arms and yelled at us to “get in.” Her attitude and tone quite literally had all of our jaws dropped. Lots of other minor interactions as well, such as bartenders and security. All I have to say is the casino needs to reinforce a welcoming environment to their workers. Definitely will never be coming back again.
