Not sure what to do. Got noticed in mail of a court date for traffic ticket on a Saturday weird already drove all the way there, not even open, sat in the parking lot like an dum dum for half an hour and finally decide to leave…. Curious how come they give me a weekend court date, and no one is working on the weekend…?
If I could give a zero I would. For a court to not even abide by the hours they have posted is not only unprofessional but should immediately nullify whatever ticket you're trying to appeal. How is one supposed to fight a ticket when no one is there to speak with/answer phones?
Nobody likes visiting a courthouse. The line ups are long, the tempers are flaring and to top it off, it's packed full of lawyers, police officers and potential criminals. But objectively speaking, this particular courthouse has lots of free parking space, is clean and has a staff which does their best to accommodate you. Just make sure you go as early as possible because it can get crowded.
I’ve never experienced such an awful person in my life. I drove from Calgary with a broken toe and waited two hours to find out they didn’t have my paperwork. Once I got in there I told him the situation about my ticket coming home from a funeral in BC of my brother in law who passed away at 26. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me to stop blaming my problems on other people and didn’t even do anything with the ticket. I’m currently bawling my eyes out in the parking lot. I have never met such an awful person. I have never been treated so poorly. I honestly hope that the man that was working today gets fired. He shouldn’t be dealing with any people.
Everyone was nice and professional. I had to wait quite a long time, about 4-5 hours. The whole process was hecktic but they had people going through the crowd making sure they were going to the right place. Just show up and be patient. Try and solicit some legal advice from the lawyers combing through there. They'll try to get to you in line as well before you stand. Use your judgement. Unless you have a lawyer telling you that you got this, just plead down. The whole thing, fairly or not, can be almost automated. They'll help you out with payment scheduling and volunteer programs if needed. I'm docking one star for outdated decor out of principal. Also, come on. A courthouse built on railway ave? I got railroaded!
They send you in circles. They are scamming people out of money by making it this hard too even call. If I could give a zero I would
Worst Experince of this court. At first time visit i was not on guilty, they gave me court date, i asked them what if i am not available on that day, they said i can change date by calling or email, now i called them no one picking calls i tried 100 times, then i email, after 2 days someone replied and said date can not b changed , someone have to go on that day.
The sign outside the door says its open every Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm. I went there at 11:30am on Thursday and it was closed. I drove for 2 hrs to come here. Its ridiculously misguiding and frustrating beyond limits!
had one of the worst and unresolved phone calls with a lady working here. She was very rude and ended up hanging up on me. Not impressed and very disappointed. No respect
