The Ajax Costco is a reliable spot for your bulk shopping, and the location is truly great—it’s super easy to get to right off the highway, which saves a lot of hassle. While it's still Costco, the parking lot is genuinely better than what you find at a lot of other locations; it seems easier to navigate and find a spot without the usual crazy congestion. Of course, once you're inside, it’s all the good shopping you expect from Costco, making it the perfect go-to for stocking up.
Costco Ajax has gone down hill. What a waste of $47.35! The steak looked good on the top but two of the three were absolute garbage cuts on the bottom. I'd return them but I don't feel like standing in their return line that ALWAYS funnels out into the tire centre and waste an hour of my life. At a time where beef prices are at an all time high, this is just disgusting Costco!!!
well-organized and spacious. The staff are helpful, and checkout is usually quick with self-checkout options. They always have fresh groceries, good quality meat, and a wide variety of products at great prices. The food court is also a nice bonus for a quick bite after shopping. Parking is big and convenient.nnOverall, a great place for bulk shopping and saving money.
Too crowded and not enough staff to help with products.nWent in today and it was humid and busy. I saw little sampling stalls in places that blocked the way for carts. People left their carts in the middle of the store. They should be more aware that people need to get though and should move their carts to the side if they need to stop somewhere.nProduct placements were changed again, went to get a product and had to reach to the top seeing that it was already ripped open. Then a staff finally came only to tell me that I’m not allowed to take that product from that section and that those are backstock or something. They mentioned that that specific product had been moved to the other side of the store. They made me feel so bad.nThey should have more knowledgeable staff because when we first asked someone about the product, they gave us the wrong info and then to be kind of scolded by another staff made me feel so bad about myself because I was struggling to grab a product I needed, another shopper was there too wanting to grab one as well so I wasn’t the only one.nnManagement needs to have more staff to direct people and help people with products, otherwise people will just rip things open like I saw - to get what they want. Also, there should be signs for what products are in what aisles; there’s only numbers.nnAnyways I’d be hard-pressed to go there again, especially at that time and that day.
Since self checkout was instituted as few years ago it has enhanced my shopping experience. Helpful staff that is quick to assist. Diversity and inclusion has improved and quilled/minimized past incidents of racism and micro aggression directed towards minority groups. The atmosphere boasts friendliness and an accepting culture.
