Service was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I would describe the food as a little flat. We enjoyed our meals and the portions were great, it just seemed flat. We would go back for sure.

I was not impressed. I will say that the waitress was very friendly and professional, but the food itself was really hit or miss. We started with the fried calamari and it was great. Not greasy, with a very light breading. I ordered the cavatelli, and I made it very clear to the waitress that I am lactose intolerant and to please substitute olive oil for any butter. She said it would not be a problem. When I revived my pasta, it was swimming in a pool of grease and it was incredibly salty. As it had taken close to an hour to receive our entrees, I decided to just eat it anyways as I was starving. BIG MISTAKE. I can tell you with absolute certainty that there was butter or some type of dairy in the dish. I didn't even make it home before I started to feel sick. While I'm only lactose intolerant and I'll be fine, please consider the fact that lying about a dish being dairy free could kill someone with a dairy allergy. For that matter, even though they advertise having gluten free options available, I wouldn't risk eating here if you have celiac disease. My brother ordered the NY strip steak and was also disappointed. While it was cooked medium as he ordered it, none of the fat was rendered properly. He ended up with a plate full of rubbery white fat that he had to carve out of the steak. My fiance had the scallops with lobster risotto and he overall enjoyed his meal. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and he said the risotto was good but not the best he's had. It had large pieces of lobster in it. I will definitely not be coming back or recommending this restaurant to anyone. There are far better Italian restaurants in the area.

We had some pasta from there during the Italian festival and it was great. Need to stop in and get a real dinner
