Such a nice little spot! Very friendly staff. They never let my coffee go empty . The food was great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Also, they give Free, Fresh homemade donuts after breakfast!! Yummy!

We were in Peterborough for a hockey tournament. I Google breakfast places This restaurant had amazing reviews, so we decided to give it a try. And I can see why. The atmosphere was cozy and homey. Service was amazing. And food was very good, and flavourful. Everything was homemade Would definitely give it a 10 we will be going back to try out their lunch menu. It was also reasonably priced.

If you're on your way to Ottawa or Montreal, this is a great place to stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Food is homemade with all fresh ingredients and lots of flavor, staff is super nice and service is quick. Price is totally reasonable for the quality of food that you get. Highly recommended!

The hollandaise sauce Is AMAZING!!!! Anything I have ordered from here has been delicious. They have a great selection that ranges from soups, sandwiches and almost anything you could want for breakfast. Not to mention at the end of each meal there is a special complimentary treat!!!! They are almost too reasonably priced as well!! The staff are also amazing, the energy is very homey and you can tell the wonderful people working there have some strong heart & soul. Keep being great!

A solid 4.5 stars... I really wish our Google overlords would make the rating out of 10 not 5. I have a real issue with giving 5 stars. That said...the only reason that Copper Spoons gets the 4 is because it was a busy Saturday and service was the tiniest bit slow...and I prefer to leave a little room for improvement. Breakfast Pizza... absolutely loved this. Coffee...a proper mug, not bitter but a bit stronger than most. Kim loved the Clubhouse...and the request to remove the middle slice was greeted with a smile ... Ambience is comfortable & homey. We have recently started to visit Peterborough...this will be our breakfast stop. Great food, people and reasonable prices. That's a great recipe.

Was passing through town on our way up north and needed a breakfast stop. My wife and I are big supporters of support small businesses. The people and food was fantastic. The homemade jam alone is reason to stop in. Big portions, quality ingredients and as I mentioned the owner and other guest were so friendly. We managed to sit beside a table of locals and enjoyed good food with good conversation.

Bespoke off the main street and well hidden rustic gem that delivers an off beat but happily polished experience and fun breakfast diner setting. Feels like it has a European influence and was glad to have escaped the main street to try this quirky little familyplace. They take reservations and would suggest you make one as it was super busy the entire time we were there on a Saturday. Clearly well known by locals at this point. Wait at the door and friendly staff will help you when you arrive. Food was well varied and delicious.

What a gem of a breakfast / lunch place in Peterborough; super cute ambience, great service and incredibly tasty and fresh food. The skillet is a highlight and the side of fruit that came with was amazing!! Bonus fresh melt in your mouth donuts. Will be back!

It's a hidden gem! small home like feeling. The food is absolutely perfect, very good. We just finished our food, stuffed of course, and our server brings us 2 donuts. Highly recommend

I am reviewing "Copper Spoons" somewhat reluctantly. Reluctant because once you find this hidden "Gem," we will end up waiting for a table when we go there. That is OK because this restaurant deserves to be a huge success and your go to place for breakfast or lunch. I am a vegetarian and have a hard time finding a breakfast place that I wouldn't hesitate to go back to. I had the "Vegetarian Skillet" and my partner had the "Sunrise Special" which is served between 7 - 10 am. It came with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast, Rye is 50 cents extra, choice of bacon, sausage links or turkey bacon, PLUS coffee or tea. This Special was only $6.99. Try getting all of that elsewhere!. The portions were generous and hot. Our server was Jess who was very friendly and prompt. I love finding restaurants that are unique and "Cooper Spoons" is unique. Cooper Spoons is in a residential area and I would bet that most people drive right by it and don't realize that they just passed a great little restaurant. It is small and quaint, but very cozy. A real friendly place. Looking forward to being a "regular" patron. Thank you for the great food and service. Wishing you great success.
