What a gem! We can tell the owner/chef/server really loves food. He is very creative with his specials - Southern Sandwich was chicken schnitzel with pulled pork, and soup of the day was smoked chicken, savoy cabbage and potatoes. Basics like traditional breakfast was well done. Farmer's sausages are big and tasty. Price is a steal!

Very happy with our lunch, fries are very good, club sandwich is very good. Real mayonnaise available on request. Free coffee refills. Small restaurant, with 30 or 40 seats.

Always a wonderful meal, prepared by Chef Goran. A welcome spot in the neighbourhood, clean and affordable. Breakfast is great, but I love the liver ‘n’ onions special on Tuesday nights! Mmmm! Parking: Lots of parking at the back of the restaurant, enter off Armour Road.

There’s too many good things to say about this place! I’ve been coming here ~2 years, and every aspect of this place has been top notch. The food is all very affordable, gourmet tasting and looking, and served with a smile. Breakfast or lunch food, Mr. Varga has you covered! His involvement within the Peterborough community has brought many different people great plates of food and helped many different groups. We were even lucky enough to have Square Plates cater our rugby banquet. Could not recommend this place enough!

Brilliant and delicious vegetarian eggs Benny. Hot and fresh. Can’t emphasize enough how much I love this place.

I can’t say enough about the EXCELLENT customer service. The owner goes above and beyond and even let us come early before he opened. What an amazing little restaurant! This quiet unassuming place has good old fashion home cooked comfort meals.I had the halibut and chips and they were fantastic. The halibut came with a light delicate batter, not your run of the mill crunchy, fried and dripping with grease. The fish was moist and juicy, the best I have had in a very long time. It came with a creamy homemade cold slaw and homemade tarter sauce that was to die for. The chip were golden and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Other members of the party had; BLT, grilled cheese and chicken cordon bleu. They were all very pleased with their meals. The best part was when the owner told me the fish batter was gluten free! Dietary restrictions: The fish batter is gluten free!

Best Eggs Benedict I have EVER had!! It has taken me forever to write this Review.... Extremely busy place but worth any wait time experienced. I have added a Photo but not sure where that Review went and uncertain on how to add a photo here

Exceptional food! It's a bold statement, but I may have had the MOST flavorful, delicious soup I have ever eaten today. Black beans, rich bacon and steak that tasted simmered in a rich merlot stock.. This soup could have easily passed as a starter in a swanky fine dinning restaurant in Toronto! I can't wait to try the soup next time I'm there!!

Had my first breakfast outside my house in a year! This diner was wonderful. The owner is the cook and he’s a friendly man who truly loves what he does. He even gave a tutorial to my mum and me about his coffee blend! Highly recommend this restaurant. The photo is my amazing Eggs Benedict. Very clean and very strict Covid protocols which I am grateful for.
