Cool Beans has been serving NE Ohio since 2001 and we are so more than just a coffee house! We also offer fresh salads, wraps, paninis, subs, soups and Whitey's Famous Chili.

Went with my partner to Cool Beans on a quick lunch pit stop. Was looking forward to visiting after a recommendation from a friend, and hearing about their iced coffee and soup flights. We ordered two of the drink specials, the Hermit, a Thai Iced Tea Blended drink, and the High Priestess, a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Latte. We ordered both with oat milk, which was confirmed by the cashier. I do prefer a sweet flavored drink, but both tasted primarily of milk and syrup, and possibly dairy milk. We ate the soup flight for lunch, ours had the chili, potato leek, pasta fagioli, and tomato soup. We paired it with the three cheese panini with added bacon. We loved the tomato of the four soups, and found the other soups and sandwich average. It was a busy day, and there were about 30 people in the Cafe. The food took a while to come out, and it was difficult to hear names being called clearly. A last concern, despite the high ceilings and spread out tables, and people in and out the doors air quality levels were very high, the second time I've seen a capped score of 1999ppm. Good indoor air quality should be below 1000ppm. Installing quality air filtration can help improve this and keep customers safe by decreasing risk to airborne illness. The flights are really cool concepts, and if these concerns were addressed I'd come back.
First time here we found this little place online and decided to give it a try. I got the flight which was really good. The butter pecan steamer didn't have a whole lot of flavor but the others were really good. We got the soup flight as well and all four were really good the flavors we got will be in the pictures. The reason for the 4 star on good was we got the three cheese grilled cheese and the crust was super hard. Had to soak it in the soup to eat the crust. The flavor of the sandwich was good besides the crust. The ladies at the register were super nice and kind and showed us all the flight and specials. They were knowledgeable about the products. We will be back. We need of of these up in West Akron
LOVE LOVE LOVE this small business on the historic Medina Square. One of the only coffee shops where I can get raspberry The BEST chicken salad sandwiches around. And their cookies are huge! Always supportive of local events. Staff is friendly and I almost always bump into a friend here!
The food is good, and prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is nice. But the coffee is a little inconsistent. The cold brew sometimes tastes like coffee that was brewed hot and poured over ice, and the espresso is sometimes extremely strong so you have to either really like strong acidic coffee or mellow it out with a lot of flavor.
Stopped in during vendor setup for Affair in the Square - while very busy, everyone was upbeat, friendly and, the lines for ordering/getting food were moving quicker than I expected! I got the cranberry chicken salad sandwich came with chips and a pickle and it’s delicious! Very glad I stopped! My *only* regret was not *also* getting a giant cookie!
