My family and I were recently at the Swiss Consulate for an appointment and we were absolutely impressed with the organization/efficiency of the process. The friendliness of the staff member we worked with and his excellent sense of humour when working with our children was fully appreciated and made for a wonderfully memorable visit!

I had my appointment today at the Swiss Consulate and it was such a seamless experience. The lady that helped me was super sweet and kind. The visa process was way better and straight forward than the VFS process that most countries operate through.

Swiss quality as expected. Truly a pleasure finding a piece of home abroad. Quick and efficient service for citizens. ID documents arrived within 7 days after appointment. Truly class. Canadian public offices should take note

The warmth and support that one gets throughout the visa process is unmatched. I have applied for visas in different countries and embassies, but I have yet to experience such service offered by this consulate somewhere else! Caterina is very amazing and supportive!

One of the best experiences I had at a Consulate. I had to travel to Geneva to attend a course on a short notice. Visa timelines were delayed due to COVID and there weren't any appointments available for fingerprints. I explained my concern to the staff and they were very considerate and helpful. I got a visa in advance of my course actually within days of submitting my application. Since I'm not staying in Montreal, the visa officer was kind to issue me the visa on the day of my fingerprinting appointment. A great experience overall. Thank you so much! Switzerland, here I come!

The consular officers are very gentle and polite. I got my tourism visa for skiing within a week. The mountains are waiting and I must go!

I had a great experience with my visa process here at the Montreal Consulate. I had to travel in less than a week and was able to get an appointment in time and the visa officer Caterina was super helpful and understood my situation. She was able to process my visa on the same day of my appointment to save me a trip from Toronto. I am very happy with the service and would really appreciate their efficiency.

I came here from out of province for my passport renewal. What a speedy and expedient process! Reached 20 minutes early, and was out shortly after my appointment time. With the new covid rules you have to wait outside until close to your appointed time. The waiting area is very small, so if the weather is bad, don’t arrive too early because you’ll get stuck waiting outside! Pro-tip; if you’re travelling from out of province, consider staying at the Hotel Terrasse Royale. It’s up the street and very cheap! Took me 15 minutes to get to the embassy by bus! Also highly suggest getting a 3-day subway pass from the airport. The public transport system in montreal is amazing!
