Consulado Colombiano

Wonderful experience! Got my Colombian passport in a few days without any issues. The ladies working at the Consulate were kind and patient, made me feel welcome and took the time to explain the process of getting a passport. They are very good at what they do. I think the service was very organized and efficient. Thanks very much!

I gotta say that I'm beyond impressed with their service!! In 2009 I had to get some Colombian paperwork through the mobile embassy and it was a very traumatizing experience that I never wanted to go through again. So this time I wanted to avoid as many problems as possible that I went a few weeks before my appointment to confirm that all my paperwork was correct. Not only was the volunteer at the front desk so friendly and kind, but they also took me in right away instead of having to wait till my appointment date and it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly, funny and understanding. As wild as this sounds, my experience there has changed my views on traveling to Colombia and removed the bitterness I had towards it. Viva Colombia!!

Apparently they're not very organized - keep changing already set appointment time. They dont provide any record of the appointment, no email or text message, all done verbally over the phone. So when you call them again to reconfirm the time, whoever answers the phone might start insisting that you're booked for a time slot you actually never booked for. Because, like I mentioned, there's no record of the appointment you could refer to. It appears they need to organize their internal processes. Especially records keeping and just being more consistent and accountable.

They are accountable for what they need to do in regards paperwork. 2 stars for me for Customer service. I did not feel welcome at all.
