Welcome to the Comstock Inn & Conference Center. The Comstock is the only full service hotel in Shiawassee County. We have 64 elegant and luxurious rooms, a first-class restaurant within the hotel (Tanglewood Restaurant & Lounge), a heated indoor swimming pool, complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet, complimentary WiFi throughout the building, a 24 hour business center, and much more. The Comstock is also here to serve as the host for your next banquet. We can serve up to 400 guests and will do everything we can to make your next event memorable and successful. I had made a reservation a year in advance for the first weekend in October, checking in on Saturday 10/7/2017 and checking out the next day. When I tried to check in between 5 and 6 pm on Saturday I was first told that their cancelation policy is to call 24 hours in advance to cancel (my confirmation letter states before 6pm the day before). Since I was there I obviously didn’t cancel. Then he told me that they had run the credit card and it was declined (which I would have been notified by my bank if that had happened, and I wasn’t). He also said they called and left a message (when I got home there was a message left at 4:02 pm on Saturday). I told him there would have been no reason for the card to have been declined but he kept saying the same thing and that they had no rooms available. I’m sure they made room for the wedding guests rather than honoring my reservation and I wasn’t the only one this happened to (and there were no vacancies anywhere within 10 miles of there). I checked later and the phone number they had on file for me was my cell phone. I also checked with my bank to confirm that there was no attempt made much less declined, they did see the charge from last year.

The Comstock is a nice hotel with good service. We had some mix ups during our stay so I wouldn't say it's the best. They have free breakfast, a pool and a in house restaurant & bar

Checked in last night with my 1 year old and 2 year old. Could barely hear the front desk agent over the deafening music from a wedding reception. We get our keys and go to our room which is located directly over the party. Nothing like trying to put 2 toddlers to bed over the bumping bass of Ke$ha. I called and went to the front desk and was told they would "say something" to the DJ. No one in my room got to sleep until the party wrapped up, well after 11pm. We spent 40-50% over what we usually spend on hotel rooms because this was supposed to be very nice. Front desk agent was very defensive with my husband this morning and only gave us $15 off our room. We are in Owosso several times a year, but our business will be going elsewhere.

Neeed a place to stay when my grandson was being born, and stumbled upon this place. I could not be happier. The front desk girls were outstanding! They answered our questions and were very pleasant. They even let us into the restaurant a little early. Thank you so much

Not a bad place ( probably the best in Owosso) but could definitely be sprouced up a bit.. our room had a big gap between the carpet and wall.. inside of the elevator was all tarnished.. if needed to would stay again. But expected more..
