We are forced to use this company. I get what this company is trying to accomplish and part of what it does is good but this is my situation . . . . When filling out the H&S stats we were honest with our numbers. For one month out of the year we peaked at a number that bumped us to the next payment category for annual subscriptions. That jump in payment amount was extensive for them offering no more "value add" for the service or having to do any more work. I called them to ask if this extra price we pay gives us any more value, or they have to do any more work, they confirmed it doesn't/they don't. We are a small company - and this company doesn't care about how something like this can make a big difference. Instead of charging based on the number of employees we hit once, for two months, charge based on the average amount of employees year round because that would be a more accurate representation of revenue we make. If your a company looking to trust someone to do your safety data verification please try to look somewhere else - a company that cares about small businesses and takes a more human approach.

This company is one of the worst to deal with. They can't even process a simple credit card payment. Then they want to charge reactivation fees. I would urge anyone to use ISN Networld, Avetta or another alternative.

Modern day pay to play "service" that offers no value to owners and is a cash grab to contractors. Costs have increased exponentially year after year with "inflation" as a somehow justifiable excuse. Online chat is a joke, and their number is now disconnected. They have cut off all methods of contact to avoid any responsibility whatsoever.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Complyworks, Cognibox, Avetta are all different versions of the same cash grab. Large corporations force contractors to pay for memberships with these compliance companies or they will not allow you to work for them. So, as a small business you are forced to spend countless hrs scanning and uploading copies of your safety certs, policies, procedures etc etc. The best part is in my particular industry I have to pay for Cognibox, Avetta AND Complyworks to keep my company in good standing with my various clients. This outsourcing of 'due diligence' does not make anyone safer, it is simply a means for large companies to absolve themselves of any liability. Complyworks and the other companies I mentioned all share the same traits: costly, massive time wasters, and poorly developed websites. Any of these positive reviews must have come from Complyworks employees or big company procurement groups whose only involvement with it is forcing contractors like me to use it.

1. Complyworks under their new management Veriforce has increased their pricing in some instances 2-3 times above what companies were paying last year. This increase would never be allowed by contractor companies to our clients. 2. We are currently under a COVID pandemic where a lot of companies are trying to stay alive - and increasing your pricing this drastically is an undue hardship on them. Even though in a lot of instances they have seen a 50% or higher decrease workforce and working hours - and are also seeking government assistance to keep workers employed. 3. Most of my clients have had to slash their rates to clients just to keep working - but the contractor management database Veriforce can increase their rates by 50-300%. 4. Under Complyworks suggestion - "Option A - Best choice" allowed clients to freely request access to our information - WITHOUT our approval. Therefore even if we NEVER worked for a company - we are now paying for them without the chance to correct it. 5. They sent a notice out on December 29, 2020 during holiday shutdown that you were increasing rates on January 1, 2021 - almost no notice - and many clients didn't read the notice as it was sent out over Christmas holidays.

Terrible company to deal with. While every other business in Alberta was giving discounts to work they kept charging the same amount for their forced service. Give away your company email to people they partner with so that they can also bug you for things you shouldn't need. Absolute trash.

As a heavy user of ComplyWorks in two separate companies, i have received unparalleled customer service from ComplyWorks. The turnaround time in troubleshooting issues is unmatched, especially in the oil&gas industry. As well, i find the online platform VERY user friendly and changes are updated immediately with no lag - especially in rush situations issuing orientation codes for people to be able to get site access. I would easily recommend as the most fit for purpose compliance solution.

I requested a refund to redo a subscription. 1 day after I checked out not knowing exactly if I was the right program. Chat told me to pound sand and we do not refund its in big red writing. As well check with your client to make sure before you proceed. Sorry for not seeing all your big red writing. And not checking to see with my 1 client that utilizes your service. 20 + year business owner and I never have seen a non refundable service. I know money is tight but cmon non refundable? Ya I screwed up but we are human. Your policy sucks!

WORST SERVICE EVER, you cant even call in for support, you are left with an answering machine and no one calls you back. The online support is just as brutal with 10 minute wait times. Anyone that gives this company a good rating has never tried ISNET World or Avetta. I simply have this subscription for a couple clients that will be soon moving on to a pre quall company that consists of more than three employees and actually give you what you are paying for.

We have used Complyworks for several years now. In comparison to other similar sites like Contractor Check or IS Networld, their site is much easier to navigate. We have recently used their online customer service and our inquiry was dealt with promptly and they were very friendly.
