Community Health Center of Snohomish County - Arlington Medical

The front desk is pleasant but the main reason I rate it this way is the service I get from my primary Dr' Blythe. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had (and I've had a lot, I was born with a congenital heart defect. I've lived in the hospital at times for six months or more.) He listens to what I have to say and how I'm feeling. He knows that you may not have training but you do know your body the most. Come on, you've lived in it all your life. I knew there was something wrong with my hormone balance and I asked to have them tested. He trusted I knew my body and ordered the test. I was correct but as it was in the normal range for a biological male, he informed me that I was where I should be. Dr. Blythe has not had specialty training in transgender care, as most PCP's do not, and because so he did not know the numbers I should have. I informed him that they were to low for what I needed and way lower than what my transgender hormone specialty doctor had me on. (I could no longer see that doctor as he worked at Children's and I am no longer a child) Dr. Blythe admitted he was did not know that nor was he comfortable with messing around with my dose, since he does not work in that field. Wrote me a referral to a endocrinologist that appointment. Dr. Blythe listened to me and looked into what I felt was wrong. He even made sure that I was taken care of by someone that knew what they were doing. Not only that but whenever I come in he asks how I'm mentally doing and makes sure that my mental health providers are helping me. He cares about his patients, I was treated very well at my first appointments and really cares about his regulars. You really can't ask for more in a PCP than how Dr. Blythe is.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They obviously don't care because they are primarily helping the Medicaid population. I had an appointment scheduled for June 2016 that has now been rescheduled 3 times by them. One of those times, they never even called to notify me, they just canceled the visit. Drove 30 minutes to get there to find out they were forcing me to reschedule 2 months out for a filling. It has been 1 month, and now that tooth is excruciatingly painful. I called Sunday, just hopeful an operator had an emergency number or something to call. Nope, thee most useless POS answered the phone and gave me horrible attitude, treating me like an idiot for calling. I work in healthcare, and if I ever talked to a patient like how she talked to me I would have been fired. Most awful place ever, but they don't care because there are hardly any other places for Medicaid patients to go.

Dr. Parmar my new primary, was very professional and kind. The staff was also. I was seen for a broken ankle. It's been a hectic week for me...ER, CHC and orthopedic clinic. All doctors, staff were very professional.

This place is the WORST. My wisdom teeth came in impacted and caused an infection on both sides of my mouth which constantly causes me pain. My first appointment was in April of 2016 and their x-ray machine was broken, so I had to wait 45 minutes for them to fix it, then another 30 standing there at the machine while they figured out how to use it (it took them 3 tries). That was just an exam, then my other appointment in February of 2017 where I went in and even though they gave me a card telling me to come in, it wasn't scheduled. So then they rescheduled it for May, which when I came in the doctor decided to take a vacation so my appointment was cancelled and I had no idea. They lied to me about sending a cancellation letter and didn't even TRY calling either phone on my record to tell me. So now they scheduled it for august, for just a basic exam which I already had. It has been over a year. I am still in pain. My wisdom teeth are turning black in some areas and this is all I can afford. I am never coming back and I hope anyone who sees this or has had any scenarios like mine doesn't go as well.

I'm one of those people that have slipped through every crack in every system. I'm in my early to mid 30's now and I feel like I'm in my 60's to 70's. Been to two appointments so far. All I can say is I Love This Place. I'm a pretty straight forward person. I really appreciate their facilities, my doctor Amberly Halbert, another Male doctor saw me last minute & saved me from the server pain that Everett Clinic inflicted on me. They have helped me and my daughter with our migraines. They referred me to specialists right away. They're addressing my issues (that nobody would since I was 18). I cannot wait to see what all they can do to help me get out of some of this pain I've been going through for almost 20 years. Thought it was a great place. But anything to make a person go through hell, they sure do for me. Prescribing me many different forms I anti-inflammatories and having the need to take them all the same time plus other stuff that I'm allergic to and because I couldn't remember the reactions and I had to had me retake it again. Legs and feet and hips and half my body was so swollen I couldn't get it in any item of clothing had to go to the hospital. I was told to quit taking all these new medications and to go back on what I was taken I explained out that CHC refuses to give me any normal meds. Make an appointment for something more than they just want to specialize or see you in one thing when you need help with two things. How many times I've been ignoring on issues. Got a perfect place to walk in and see druggies Arlington that sell all their pills for heroin and meth sitting there happy as hell. So now me and my eleven-year-old daughter have no doctor again & s*** insurance. We should have stayed at Everett Clinic
