Comfort Inn- Ottawa

I am one who lives by reviews, so I think it is very important to leave fair and honest ones. I read reviews from previous years that say this hotel is “dirty, horrible, bad staff” etc. I never stayed here when the previous owners had it, but by the time that I move into my new home, it will be over two months. The breakfast that they provide is very filling. I have sat in the lobby and watched staff endure very picky and difficult people. All while keeping a smile and friendly tone. The staff goes beyond the call of duty for their guests...all of them. Entire staff, front desk, housekeeping, breakfast staff, laundry and maintenance, treats you like family. So I would say to not take the few bad reviews here as the current situation. Owners have changed and they are now well staffed. This place does not claim to be a 5 star hotel at $500 a night. The average cost is about $90 (?), and for that you get a pretty good deal! Clean and safe rooms, well stocked including a microwave and fridge, and a good night sleep! Check it out!

They have good rooms, except the fact we had to go to the lobby and get a cleaning lady to clean the pee off of the toilet seat. But they were willing to come and came quick. Other than that the beds we're comfy and breakfast was good. Over all it was a pretty good experience.

The staff has been friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and serviceable. No real complaints, breakfast could be better but it is complimentary.

👍 Staff was incredibly welcoming, rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was great and our Son LOVED the pool! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an overnight stay on a budget! Conveniently located right off the expressway too! 😀
