We used our National Park Pass for a discount. Great location in Grand Tetons. We camped at the RV park. The campsite is rustic; dirt sites, a picnic table, and towering trees, which I think most people would expect camping in a National Park, and it took a bit to level. There are plumbed toilets but no showers, however, nearby there are showers for $4.50. Also nearby there is a grocery store that has good prices and selection, nice gift shop, laundromat, showers, a visitor center, restaurant, and the marina. There is no over air TV or WiFi and Verizon and AT&T did not work at the campground. Throughout the Grand Tetons one can sometimes get a Verizon signal. There are bear boxes to store food goods throughout the campground.

Pro: pretty view of the Grand Tetons. Each site had bear proof food storage. Responsive Rangers and nice ladies at pay booth. Cons: campsite was like the moon, rocky craters and all. Bathrooms were dirty, weirdest toilets I've ever seen in the women's bathroom (a floor toilet would have been far better) and had no soap, paper towels or air dryer. Camp host wouldn't say a word. We woke up at 1:30am to 2 guys high on something cursing very loudly while walking through camp for about 20 min. A neighboring camper called the ranger who promptly tried to track the hooligans down. Odd experience!

Probably not worth $30 a night for tent camping. At least in the B loop, the bathrooms were very old and not that clean (with only one usable toilet out of three in the women's bathroom!), and the dishwashing station was very poor and only good for dumping dirty water. There wasn't even soap in the bathroom. However, the location is good, with great access to good trails and amenities (stores, visitor center, and restaurants). Each campsite also had a bear box and while some were more open, plenty of sites were reasonably private and secluded. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, despite what must be a difficult job with so many campers.

So Disappointing So campground is first come first serve (unlike adjoining RV park), is a good size and well laid out. But the facilities are original from the 1950's and are decades past replacement. Toilets were disgusting: stank to high heaven even immediately after cleaning (they did try). Sink was blocked for the entire week, reported to staff and nothing done. Our site was just dirt: everything including the kids was filthy in minutes. They need to take these out of service and restore. Bear boxes are a necessity, but instead they installed solar ovens. our marshmallows literally melted inside. Overall, a very poor experience. I know budgets may be tight, but basic sanitation and taking care of the sites is essential. Oh, and don't even bother taking a bicycle. Not allowed to ride anywhere, including on the links to the shop, showers or village. The road in is lethal for small kids.

Pretty campground! Short walk to the lake, really clean bathrooms! No showers on the campground but for $4 really nice hot showers at the laundry room!
