Story

Colonie Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital facility serving cats, dogs, birds, mice, rats, ferrets, guinea pigs and other exotic pets. It has been in continous practice since 1940. The hospital has a full laboratory, pharmacy and x-ray and surgical areas. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures can be handled within the hospital.

Colonie Animal Hospital is one of the oldest members of the American Animal Hospital Assocation (AAHA) in Northern New York. As a member of AAHA, the hospital adheres to rigid requirements for quality medical care and comprehensive AAHA inspections. We are proud to be a longstanding member of AAHA.

I would like to thank all the staff at colonie animal hospital and especially Dr. Koran-Roth for all the kindness that we received and especially for our dog Buddy. For almost 11 years they were always there for Buddy. You are all the best! Thank you!

Dr. Kinne and Dr. Koren-Roth are the most knowledgeable and compassionate Vets in the area! The whole staff follows suit! Treating my pets as if their own. Lots of attention comfort and care. My Luna was hospitalised not too long ago, cage stocked with warm soft blankets 5 different types of food left for her to choose from, friendly hugs and kisses and several potty outings all day long. 5 star rating!

Everyone at Colonie Animal Hospital (CAH) has ALWAYS been terrific to my pets and to me. I have given 3 rescued dogs a permanent home and each one has been brought to CAH for their care. Over these many years all their needs have always been met with exceptional kindness and professionalism. The staff is wonderful! They are friendly and kind even though my latest rescue isn’t always friendly and accommodating to them. Their care for my pets has always been exceptional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Looseing our golden retriever Tobe after 11 years in October I have to say colonie hosiptal and all staff workers were pleasant didn't rushed us they gave me the time to sit and hold by best friend until late it was over and they kepted there word and did everything I asked for we couldn't of done it with out them. I am so thankful.
