The Colonial Inn is a nice, friendly, quiet little motel. The owner and his managers and staff are very helpful. They are willing to go above and beyond their duties to make their guests feel like they are #1 including checking in wiht them shortly after arrival to make sure everything is good with their guests' rooms. They have been remodeling some of the rooms and continue to strive to make the establishment thrive. They have nightly, weekly, & monthly rates. All that are very competitive to the other hotels in New Ulm.

My room wasn't made before I was handed the key. In desperate need of a vacuum. I think I had a dried worm stuck too my sock

New owner doing his best. Lots of confusion over price of stay hut he works with you. Most definitely needs new mattresses. A complete update/ overhaul on paint bedding etc us greatly needed and for the long staying guests access to washer/dryer would be nice. All in all not a bad place for the money could be a little better

Budget hotel with quality accommodation, perfect for long stays. Free internet and right on the Broadway street. Close to everything. Rooms have flat screen TV, fridge and microwaves. Friendly staff.

The owners are amazing, sweet folks. Very comfortable rooms, free coffee, WiFi and cable. Very nice and quiet.
