Cold Front Gelato

Fabulous location in the heart of Old Town Naniamo, the shop features old classics and inventive new flavours alike — milk and plant-based. Coffee-lovers should check out their affogato, served with Milano espresso. Traditionally poured over vanilla gelato, we had ours over almond praline & caramel ribbon — what a combo!

The best gelato in town, all the flavours are delicious. The two favourites right now are the hazelnut and chestnut stracciatella ones. Worth stopping by, you won’t be disappointed!

Such great gelato! Probably the best place for dessert in town. They really care about the craft and come up with delicious and inventive flavours using local ingredients.

Incredible looking location and amazing gelato; as soon as I walked in I thought "I want to take photos here". I got to try the honey-lavender & chocolate-stoutnik, and both flavors were amazing! Definitely coming back and recommending to others!

The ice cream is good. But the non dairy coconut milk "strawberries and cream" should have a more truthful name. I feel received.

Best gelato hand's down. Keep trying to find better and it simply isn't happening.

The chocolate malt and sponge toffee is the best ice cream/gelato I have ever had. Bonus, it is vegan. I am not going to say I’m a connoisseur but I do eat a lot of ice cream, and now that I am vegan, have tried a lot of great vegan or vegan friendly ice cream shops but mostly in Vancouver. Cold Front, please open in Vancouver!!

Our favourite gelato in the city - they have a wonderful selection of flavours and handmade waffle cones too. Their ice cream delivery service during lockdown was a great way to cheer up the family. All thumbs up!
