I highly recommend this cafe. She makes the tastiest and heartiest GF vegan cranberry and pumpkin seed muffins. It's easier to travel now with the proliferation of cafes like this, at one time you were at the mercy of the chains if you were on the road. I'm not knockin' them, a toasted bagel with cream cheese is something I won't pass up but when you're traveling with family and they may have certain food allergies or philosophies places like Coffee Public are really appreciated. The service was cheerful and knowledgeable.
I absolutely love everything about Coffee Public. I went here practically every weekend this summer as I was home for the season, and it only took three or four visits for them to remember my name AND my order! I’ve never experienced such personalized kindness and approachability in a cafe before and I will be sure to visit any time I can. Also, do yourself a favour and order the Devil’s Breakfast with one egg and bacon!, as well as a chai tea latte. It’s bound to become a routine for you, too!
Great cafe. Tasty and loads of vegan options.
Great coffee, great atmosphere and wonderful staff.
I don't get here as much as I would like but it is a must stop when I'm in Port Hope
