I was around this area to visit someone and found this great place on maps with near perfect reviews. I asked the lady at the counter for recommendations and she was really nice to talk to. I ended up getting a gift basket. The chocolates were delicious. Check out the ‘Coconamap’ to understand the flavors of the chocolates, the sweetness, bitterness and tanginess. I would highly recommend to try this place as they have so many options. They even have à flavor for aid. All sales of that flavor will be donated. 5 stars for sure!
During my recent visit to the O-Hanami Festival at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, I had the pleasure of stopping by the Coconama Chocolate booth. Despite the booth being busy, the staff were welcoming and helpful, allowing me to sample some of their chocolates. I tried the Passion Fruit, Green Tea, and Cherry Blossom flavored chocolates, and I was blown away by the quality of the product. Each chocolate was expertly crafted, and I could taste the uniqueness of each flavor. The passion fruit was refreshingly tangy, the green tea was subtly sweet, and the cherry blossom was delicately fragrant. I would highly recommend all of them. The staff at Coconama Chocolate were knowledgeable and approachable, providing me with helpful information about their chocolates. The experience was fantastic, and I regret not purchasing more chocolates to take home with me, especially the passion fruit! My first impression of Coconama was fantastic. The chocolates are of the highest quality, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a unique and delicious chocolate experience, I highly recommend stopping by Coconama Chocolate. Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or just looking for a tasty treat, Coconama will not disappoint.
I first discovered Coconama at a sample kiosk at Whole Foods. Then I saw them again at the Whistler Farmers Market. And then again at Shipyards. Safe to say, my partner and I are obsessed. I love Melty Kiss and when I found out these are similar, it clicked for me. We personally love the following flavours: Milk Tea, Premium Milk, Milky White, Earl Grey, Passionfruit, 70% Dark, Lemon Basil, Mango, Matcha. I always look forward to seeing them at my local markets, hope to take a chocolate class soon!
Ordered on Sunday and got my truffles delivered on Monday! They are SO GOOD. Melted in my mouth, flavor was amazing. And they are definitely more than worth the price. If you have a craving for good truffles, this is the place for you! Highly recommend.
Their truffles are absolutely amazing - I buy them every chance I get! The premium milk chocolate and sesame flavours are my favourite. It's incredible how many different flavours there are, and how they're able to capture them in a cubed particle of goodness. I was pleasantly surprised by the chili dark and tofu dark flavours, which I had been hesitant to try from the assorted giftbox, but they turned out quite nice. I look forward to trying any new flavours that they might come up with next!
Coconama chocolate is more like a flavour explosionful truffle. Free samples super available. We bought Earl Grey and Raspberry. The staff were very helpful.
It has the most variety in flavor for Chocolate in Vancouver. Always get one when they go to local events. Recommended.
Pretty expensive if you ask me.. chocolates are hit or miss but they're not bad.
Great Japanese truffles! The owner and employees always offer great service whenever my husband and I go to their establishment. Whenever we have to buy gifts for friends or family, this is our go-to place! They have many options for gifting purposes and the gift baskets are always cute too! My favorite chocolate they have is the hojicha flavor... I go back to the states sometimes to visit my family and my brother always requests chocolate from here!
Hidden gem in North Van!! It’s a quick walk from Lonsdale Quay, and they make their treats on site. I love their shop, they have a huge selection of truffles! Their salted caramel is delicious, literally melts in your mouth. I also tried their crunchy matcha chocolate bar, which I recommend. It has crispy rice and sesame seeds which is a really unique combo but tasty!
