I had my wedding at The Coast on June 3rd. Candy was really easy to work with and handled all of our requests in a timely manor throughout all of the planning. She was very helpful with answering all of our questions and helping us stay within our budget. The staff was amazing on the day of. The food was absolutely amazing and the venue was gorgeous inside. There is a large room that was dedicated for the bridal party and parents that no guests were allowed into. There were drinks water, champagne, beer, juice before the ceremony for us and we had the room all night if we just needed to get a breath. The staff was very professional and they did all of the little things that made our experience amazing. They brought the groom and I appetizers and a water while we were taking pictures between the ceremony and reception. They brought us a plate of appetizers before dinner, so that we could have at least on of each. Our waiter also carried my dinner plate through the buffet line so that I wouldn't spill anything on my dress. The weather was warm so we had people sitting inside and outside after dinner and also for cocktail hour. It was such an amazing day and it was beautiful. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. I highly recommend The Coast for a wedding! It was perfect.
We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Coast. Everything was perfect and the staff did an amazing job! The event manager did a wonderful job keeping everything timed flawlessly. Their kitchen did an amazing job and the food was delicious. My filet was cooked perfectly and the late night BBQ station really hit the spot. Last year we attended a wedding here, which was a fantastic time and ultimately helped us decide to go with Coast for our wedding. The views from the dining room of the art museum and discovery world provide the feel of the Milwaukee lakefront that you can only get at this venue. I'm looking forward to the next event I can attend at Coast!
Attended a business gathering there. Nice facility, attentive bartenders, great "small bites" appetizers and a buffet style meal. Although the large group was spread out in the facility, all could see and hear the Presenters well. Parking was available in the lower levels. Very convenient access. Would recommend for any kind of group meeting, besides their main claim to fame as a wedding venue.
Only thing was food was not hot, and our parking was not validated forgot and could not get back in to get validated we were with the wedding so we ended up paying 8.00. And tables were to close to each other especially for the handicapped
Coast is one of the most amazing places in the country. We had a awards dinner for work there and it was spectacular. First of all you can't beat the location and views. Especially in warmer months from the patio looking at Lake Michigan and the art museum. The patio was huge and had plenty of comfortable furniture. Inside the bar area is big with plenty of staff to take care of you. We never had to wait in line for a drink like most of these events. And the food and service was second to none. I am from Chicago but work for a Wisconsin company. So we spent the night in Milwaukee centered around this dinner. It was a great experience. Afterwards we walked right across the street to the Art Museum and lakefront where we found electric scooters to rent and finish out the night. Overall the facilities and staff could not have been better. I would recommend Coast to everyone.
If you want the perfect wedding reception for your daughter contact Zilli Hospitality. They are amazing! It is almost impossible to find the words to describe the remarkable job performed by Candy, Paul, Jordan, and Connie. I was worried about planning an out of town wedding but the moment we walked into The Coast and met Candy I knew that we had found the ideal place. She made the whole planning experience easy and FUN! Without hesitation she included unique personal touches including serving the same appetizer that was served at our wedding reception and making the salad using my mother’s Greek dressing recipe. The reception itself was a dream come true. The setting was stunning with views of the lake and the Milwaukee skyline. The food was delicious, everyone raved about their meal. The wait staff was attentive and accommodated our every need. The DJ did a terrific job, the dance floor was full the entire evening. The only difficult thing about the entire experience was having it end and leaving The Coast. Thank you so very much Candy Zilli and Zilli Hospitality!
I got married here but now I am getting divorced after 9 years so although I would like to rate this place higher for such greatness as the Easter Sunday brunch buffet with a fully stocked all-you-can-drink bloody Mary bar, I understandably now have negative memories associated with the place. Their Mothers Day brunch is also pretty great, but my mother is dead and my ex-mother-in-law is dead to me along with the rest of my ex-in-laws, so I guess you can see where this is going.
We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Coast, and it was the best decision we made! This venue is so unique and classy, and there was a place for everyone to feel comfortable and still be a part of the celebration. The food was also incredible! We had hors d'oeuvres, plated entrees, mini desserts, and a late night mac 'n cheese station, and every bit was delicious. The bartenders were excellent as well and kept the drinks flowing to a packed bar. Throughout the planning process, we worked primarily with Roxann, Deanna, and Jessica, and they were so organized and easy to work with; everything went seamlessly. Our guests were highly impressed with the venue, and our wedding was an epic success! Highly recommend!!
