I hope whoever sees my comment does not approach this insurance company because they will treat you nicely at first and then when something simple happens with you they will fire you without warning or they will raise the insurance price double if the right is with you or against you
Friendliest insurance team I've ever dealt with. They are a smaller office and I often speak to the same people when calling in which is really nice compared to the big insurance companies. Never wait on hold. Always quick to help and they really do the best they can for you.

We have been with the co operators for a while and we have had the best service. Always friendly and never make you feel like your an imposition. Just bought a new car and Victoria made the paper work so easy. She was so nice to talk too highly recommend her .great agent. Thank you Judy
We signed up with Dawn Martin back in 2012 for a retail store that we opened. Initially the experience was VERY good. One thing about insurance companies is that you should have to call them to often unless there are issues. Things should sail along nicely. When we first started with them our commercial premiums were VERY reasonable. Around 2015 though we decided to start selling products to the USA not knowing how much it would change our policy numbers. Our premiums at that time doubled from around $125 per month to $260 per month. We called them for clarification and the only answer we could get from them was that "USA premiums are just crazy so you may want to rethink your selling to the USA." In May 2017 our retail store was broken into. The thieves took $50,000 worth of product from us and we were distraught. We turned to Co-operators to handle the claim and at that time there were staffing problems in the office. The person we opened the claim with was off for unknown reasons and Dawn had told me that there was no one available in her office to handle it. They then got a commercial specialist in another Barrie Co-operators office to handle it. That person didn't get all the information which delayed the process to get the claim taken care of. Shortly after that it got transferred back to Dawn's office which further delayed things again. After about 50 days of waiting along with many, many, many hours of calls and waiting for answers, the processing the claim was finished. The entire process has given me PTSD from ever needing another claim processed. In May or June of 2019 Dawn came out to inspect our store and make sure everything was compliant. The meeting went fine and I was promised that before the renewal happened, we would receive a phone call from one of her commercial agents in regards to making sure that our policy was covering everything we needed. This phone call never happened and our policy autorenewed at $311 per month. In March we changed banks and had our bank account information changed with Co-operators to take the money from our new bank account. Today I noticed that they attempted to take it from our old account so I figured I would give them a quick call to get that taken care of. When i called in, I talked to Heather whom immediately said "Oh, you must be calling about the insurance certificate to your landlord?" For which I replied "No, that is a good point though as I do need one but no, I am calling because I am frustrated since the money came out of the wrong account." She said that they didn't have a commercial specialist available but that Dawn would get back to me when she was in the office. Approximately 20 mins later Dawn called me and she was VERY defensive from the moment she opened talk with me. She was rude and ignorant to whatever I was saying. I let her speak but as soon as I was to speak, she spoke over me. I warned her that I can't hear her if she is speaking over me. It continued like this and then she started with "I know the way you talk to my agents and it isn't appreciated." In the end she was going ignorant and unreasonable so i hung up on her. As mentioned, an insurance company is there to handle things when problems arise which you hope will be never. When you do happen to call, it should be a smooth process. This company should not be in business if they can't handle staffing issues and problems properly. We have started negotiations with multiple other companies and I don't care what the payout is, we will be switching.
