We ordered in person and ate at their tables outside. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was delicious, I would say it was spicy. I loved the fries they looked freshly cut and were perfectly fried. My husband got a four piece and it came room temperature, it might have been good but he was too disappointed with the temperature to say for sure.
We visited the Cluck N Cleaver location in the Beltline. This is a pickup location only and parking can be a bit of a challenge. We each got the Mother Clucker sandwich and headed back to our car to eat as it is February and it's cold in Calgary. When we opened the container we were a little disappointed on the size of the chicken sandwich based on the price, but when it comes to flavour, you can not go wrong. The heat with just a touch of sweet and the crunch of the slaw was top notch. We opted for just plain mayo versus their blue cheese mayo so I can not comment on how that flavour combo would be, but if you're looking for flavour the Cluck N Cleaver can not be beat. Since we only had the sandwich, I can not comment on how their sides taste...maybe next time.
It may have been the best fried chicken ever! Huge pieces of chicken that were crispy, tender, falling off the bone and yet still juicy. And the gravy is delicious to a sublime level
This is probably the best Chicken we have had in a while. It is now one of our favourite take outs. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like a nice wholes some "home style" chicken meal , with a great selection of salads. The potato salad probably has some room for improvement, but over all great take out.
Wanted to try this place as I heard so many good things, and also wanted to support local and family owned. I was disappointed the chicken was crispy I’ll give them that. But i didn’t enjoy the taste, it reminded me of gold fish cheese snacks. And the biscuits were as solid as a rock and not edible. How could you serve people rock hard biscuits? So disappointed.

Cashier made my sandwich without gloves or washing hands after touching the screen. Sanitary condition could be a problem. The combination with blue cheese mayo is interesting and tasty. Only if you don’t mind blue cheese. They do have regular chicken sandwich. The hot sauce on my chicken is tasted like Frank’s sauce based.
I ordered potato salad as an accompaniment to our meal via doordash, and when ordering I selected the option for a serving for 1-2 people, at a rate of $4.15. When I received the order, I thought they had made a mistake because the portion of potato salad is LITERALLY 3 tablespoons. I checked. See attached photo. Very bad value for the price. Would be better to up the price, and give a bigger portion, or at the very least not market the portion as being enough for 1-2 people. I’m other news, the potato salad was deliciousss. And everything else we ordered was also delicious. Hence the 3 stars.
We ordered for delivery today to celebrate my son’s birthday. We got chicken tenders, wings, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, fries, biscuits, Skor cookies, chocolate chips, and diet Dad’s root beer. Everything was super fresh - like even the baked goods must have been made just this morning. I have never tasted as fresh a biscuit in my life. The chicken was excellent, the portions were big. The breading was so nice and crispy. The delivery was right on time, and the food was nice and hot. A wonderful birthday meal. Highly recommended.
I took a photo of what we ordered just to remember our first experience trying this place. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell! This Texas girl loved their buttermilk biscuits just needed a quick warmup in the micro and their potato salad was just like my grandmother's! Their signature chicken sandwich was so tasty and their dark meat nuggets were addicting!! That gravy was a perfect dipping sauce. My husband and I will be back to try more!
