Burnin Bird

This was some great chicken! We only got medium but the flavour and spices were amazing. The service here is great as well and their portions a pretty good. They made out day when they messed up an order and offered us a free box of chicken tenders! Thank you to the employees here, we will be back for sure.

This is one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. Very juicy great communication of pickles, slaw, and chicken. The customer service is amazing out of this world excellent they made sure I got exactly what I needed and how much spice I wanted. The chicken is so tasty and you will be coming back for more. As I'm thinking about grabbing this again already for a rerun of an old episode of my life.

Excellent rendition of a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, by Calgary standards. Friendly staff and fast enough for a freshly prepared sandwich. Good selection for those that can't take any heat and those who want their holes to burn. Staff were great about informing folks that came through to find what they'd like best. We were there at a slow patch and the manager/owner come out to chat and see how it was.

Very friendly staff and tasty chicken! Medium was enough to make my nose water a bit. My ‘show off’ hot sauce eating husband wishes he ordered the Hot instead of the Extra Hot! I had a fry dipped in his sauce and it tingle burned for a while. In other words - the place is aptly named and they don’t joke around with heat levels.

Definitely the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in town. It delivers on both flavor and heat! The sauce is just incredible too. You also can’t go wrong with some deep fried Oreos

FINALLY a spicy chicken place that actually delivers. I got the hottest version and it was a a complete, burning delight. The friendly staff made me sign a waiver for it when I ordered, and when he passed the sandwich in from the kitchen the chef wished me "good luck". Spiciest thing I've had in a long while that I did not make myself, and not only was it fiery but it tasted amazing. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Tried Burnin Bird to compare to our beloved Alumni Hot chicken. It was a close competition! We got medium which was the perfect spice - may go up a level next time. The chicken was beautifully cooked, the comeback sauce has an interesting tang to it. Loved the crinkle fries.Food: 5/5

I liked burnin bird, a lot! Personally I liked it more than flirty bird. The breading stays on the chicken, and it’s HOT. The apple cider slaw is a must, it makes it almost the heat a little more enjoyable and tolerable. The bun does a good job at holding all the sauce and doesn’t get overly soggy! The fries could use some seasoning but overall 5/5

Great sandwich. I ordered the hot and it was the perfect amount of kick. The brioche bun is a great touch as well with the sauce and apple cider coleslaw. The sandwich is a very healthy size. Great crunch, especially around the edges of the chicken.

Good burger. I ordered a medium spice & mild to see how the spice would be - neither of them were spicy. If you enjoy a kick, go spicier for sure. Good competition for chicken burgers on 17th!
