I've been a long-time, loyal shopper at Club Monaco, online and in person. Just because I happen to stop in to browse at new arrivals in workout wear, should not give employees a reason to obviously be profiling me. From the judgmental looks and fake, snarky comments, "customer service" here is extremely poor compared to the Robson location, where the staff genuinely seem like they're there to help.
I had been in this store few times and never get helped by any sale associated. I gave it another try since i dont wanna travel all the way to downtown couple days ago. The store was very empty, only me and another 2 sale associated. I stand in there for more than 10mins, not even 1 of them comes and said hello to me. They were so busy gossiping about another sale employee /customers. They were even stand in front of me and gossip about it like i didnt even existed. The company must be very generous since they still paid for their employees just to come to work then ignored and gossip about customers like that amazing
Clothes are great. Customer service is very poor. All the stuff chatting around register even though there are a bunch of customers in store. At least 6 customers in store
Home to some of the greatest apparel & customer service I found in years. Only after I got back home did I fully realize how good the products are & how well they fit me. Special thanks to salesperson 227138 for helping me to choose the right things & answering my questions. Couldn't have done it without his help!!
Loved the shirt I got + the sales associates are super chill and helpful!!
Ever since buying clothes here, I can't seem to buy clothes at any other shop ever again. I try every year cause it can get costly here... The quality is just... way too satisfying and everything feels classy, clean, proper and not too over the top in any way.
Received excellent customer service from associate helping me. The clothes are great and seem to be getting better lately. Much more welcoming and friendly than service from downtown location.
I LOVE the clothes, fabrics, styles and fit. Unfortunately, the customer service in that store is HORRIBLE to the point that I dread going in there. They literally will ignore you, roll their eyes and give you dirty looks. Club Monaco you should be ashamed of your customer service. This happens 99% of the times I have been in there so its not an isolated case, it is consistent horrible customer service. If I am willing to pay $200 for a blouse, I expect good customer service. Shame.
While I'm a big fan of Club Monaco, I can't say the same for the Metrotown location. I concur with other reviewers that the customer service is less than stellar, which deters me from entering the store, let alone shopping in it, and this is coming from someone who doesn't want to be bothered by customer service. The store itself is womenswear-centric, with the women's sale bleeding into menswear. This is unfortunate because the menswear selection used to be more robust and featured more than just casual wear, which translated into better deals during sales season. My visits to this Club Monaco have become less intentional and more of an afterthought; the Robson location has better customer service and better stock.
Not a single sales person even looked in my direction when I walked in the store. I didn't get a hello or even a smile. I'm not sure what the snobbery is about, the clothes aren't that great. Way overpriced for what they are. It's too bad; Club Monaco used to be a regular store for me. No more.
