edit: Dec 7. Still no news from Dre.MARIE-CLAUDE BRODEUR, she doesnt even bother logging my results into Carnet Sante even though the hospital has sent my results to her/clinic TWICE. When questionned the receptionist, she doesnt know where the fax goes? No one bothered to even figure out where my results are, only the nurse repeating that she cant see it online, the doc might have it and maybe she didnt contact me because all was normal in the blood test result. Of course she cant all this, after all its the job of the health professional to register all patient's results after receiving it... Moreover, even if my results came back NORMAL, Dre.Brodeur told me she will contact me for furter testing. All this never happened, Tests were done on 31 october, results were ready few days later according to the hospital and results sent immediately to the doctor. We are way into December now, still no news, and probably never will receive any. If anyone even looked into it ever. But hey, RAMQ payed the doc over 40$ for a 5 mins consultation. Nice cashgrab and zero help. - Very unprofessional receptionist who hangs up on you without letting you even finish saying your concerns. Im trying to get the nurse to call me back for my blood test results which the clinic has received several days ago. Blood test done at the end of October, but they said they never received my results, so had to contact the hospital to fax it to them once again... I find it already weird Since they got the result, nobody called me, but when I contact them, they say its logged in their system that they tried to reach me but no answer and the voicemail is full/not working. Logged manually for sure, because it's not true. I have my phone with me 24/7, voicemail is empty, never received any call or msg! I am really forced to go there in person and start to question the things. The quebec health system is bad for sure, but this clinic is truly one of the worst.
I didn't have a choice in which clinic to go to. The employees do their respective jobs. They're polite and helpful, if you know what you're looking for. The place is clean and respects the protocol for covid safety so wear a mask when you go there. The wait time varies and I waited 2 hours there which isn't that long when compared to some 10 hour wait-times at other medical establishments before covid I had my phone with me for entertainment. The Dr Boisvert was in service for medical emergencies. She is a Straightforward person, she prioritised her quick. understanding of the situation as well as valued her precious time above all. She Rushed and she didn't have time for politeness and being courteous, so she could have possibly misdiagnosed my medical issue. To avoid a misdiagnosis and to avoid wasting a medical professional's time: meet with them with purpose and have the story of your situation prepared well in advanced on a piece of paper. the 5 W's: what, why,when,who,where. Like if this helps you.
This site is full of ____ I have been trying for a week now to make an appointment and by 6:46 it is full how is that possible. Quebec's medical system doesn't work by the time you can get s doctor someone can die.
I would not recommend this clinic in any way, I injured my shoulder due to a fall on ice 2 and a half months ago and they only did some X-rays arguing that everything is fine, however, the physiotherapist asked me, why not? They sent you an MRI to see if you have ruptured a tendon? I had to make a new appointment with a third doctor at another clinic so that they could finally send me an MRI and take a closer look at my shoulder injury.
Love my family doctor she is really sweet but the receptionists are horrible! They don’t help you out, somehow they’re always full and they have an attitude that just ruins your day. Like other comments, the receptionist tells me she can’t get me an appointment because of X reason which isn’t her call but the doctors. Change them or at least your waiting message that says “all staff is trying their best to help you”
I don't understand the negative reviews. We have had nothing but excellent service from the reception on either floor. Prompt courteous service every time. And our family doctor there is thorough and highly efficient.
All i am going to say is ... i drove an hour to go. Appointment was at 12:30pm and by 4:25 pm i was back home with my antibiotics. ‍
Love my family doctor and the family doctor that is currently seeing me while my doctor is on leave but it is absolutely impossible to get an appointment. Can't book online for some reason and I have called multiple times waiting atleast an hour on hold currently have been waiting on hold for 2.5 hours and then when they finally answer, they hang up on you while trying to put you on hold again.
In Spring we had an emergency in my husband's eye, something got into his eye causing bad pain with tears and redness and we went to 3 clinics with no success but finally got an doctor at your clinic. the lady at the front desk is very helpful, she went inside to ask if the doctor can help us and came back with good news. Doctor is very professional and know what is it and know how to do with it. He just know where is this tiny tiny metal stuck on his eyeball and clear it right away. what a release!!!! I am not saying that this clinic is able to save everyone from their medical emergency, we were just very lucky to visit at the right time. Those people work inside do have a big heart, Sad to see some negative review here. But what we have seen is very good.
Trying to get an appointment online is nearly impossible probably because they fill their waiting room with appointments given by the ER at Charles Lemoyne. Trying for 3 hours online is ridiculous. Overworked, pandemic, not enough dr’s, Wtv the reason I now have a child sitting with a wound that needs stitches because he is not going to sit in an ER for 12 plus hours unvaccinated hoping to see someone
