Terrible service not in terms of there physio therapy, but in terms of the management. Twice the physiotherapist has unexpectedly quit and both times nobody called to inform me. Twice the file was “lost” after these two physiotherapists quit and now I’m being told the file is no longer open with them because of too many absences which is absolutely false. They simply have lost the file again.nnTake your chances with them, I hope they don’t lose your file and basically flip you off midway through your sessions.
My 91 year old father spent 2 months in rehabilitation following a hip fracture and was generally well treated. The food seemed very decent, my father wasn't complaining about it. We would have liked him to do exercises a little more often to learn to walk again but hey, in general his stay was good, the staff is efficient and dedicated. Thank you all.
The food is not edible. The places are unsuitable for people losing their autonomy. Staff lack training at this level. I noticed a lack of hygiene when some attendants emptied urine from a catheter into the bathroom sink. The doctor is not available to answer questions. The social worker lacks professionalism when dealing with families. The staff makes a mess of residents' clothes, puts soiled clothes in with the clean clothes in the closet. Some staff members lack respect for families.
Good evening. My husband has been hospitalized since March 3, in order to regain his mobility to undergo surgery at the CHUM. He is followed by a physiotherapist, a physiotherapist, as well as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and attendants. In short, a wonderful team, attentive, respectful, with the goal of rehabilitating the patient. My husband is English, speaks little French, but he has no problem making himself understood because several people are bilingual.nSince his arrival on March 3, after assessment, a treatment program was established and physiotherapy exercises began the next day! Already, I can see my man's progress.nThe food ! Ah! The food ! Let me tell you that, yes, I tasted almost everything on my husband's plate. What ! You never know……well, my personal verdict is that, it’s very edible. For a hospital. My husband was hospitalized for complete hip replacement in France and Italy in different hospitals and, Claude David is the winner when it comes to food! Some dishes are very well spiced, and everyone knows, or should know, that the older you are, the less you taste. So, let's put a little spice in life, and go to the Claude David center. When the time is right. As late as possible.p.s. No material problems. Towels, panties, Kleenex, mask, moisturizing cream, soaps, etc.
