Love the ambiance here. I've tried most of the milkshakes and they are all worth it. The sandwiches and burgers are all amazing too. Especially the Bacon, Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onions burger. Highly recommended!
Friendly, family diner, with real fries and real gravy. The burgers are massive and addicting shakes, favourites being Vanilla Coffee and Nutella Banana. If you dont try this place, you'll regret your choices. #itswhatsfordinner
The only eatery in downtown Winnipeg to preserve the classic diner experience. Great food! Good portion sizes for a reasonable price, friendly family business. I just wish they had soup or chili on a cold day.
Classic “diner” experience, and good prices with excellent quality food. Great milk shakes, probably a few too many flavours to pick - see attached photos - if you get the chance, you will enjoy the visit.
White Star is everything a diner should be. Amazing food. Generous portions. Fun decor. Can't wait for Covid to be over so we can dine in again!
