The only eatery in downtown Winnipeg to preserve the classic diner experience. Great food! Good portion sizes for a reasonable price, friendly family business. I just wish they had soup or chili on a cold day.

Friendly, family diner, with real fries and real gravy. The burgers are massive and addicting shakes, favourites being Vanilla Coffee and Nutella Banana. If you dont try this place, you'll regret your choices. #itswhatsfordinner

White Star is everything a diner should be. Amazing food. Generous portions. Fun decor. Can't wait for Covid to be over so we can dine in again!

Classic “diner” experience, and good prices with excellent quality food. Great milk shakes, probably a few too many flavours to pick - see attached photos - if you get the chance, you will enjoy the visit.

Had a pulled pork grilled cheese. Delicious! Fries were great. Would recommend. Friendly prompt service.

It is a small diner. The owner is very friendly. The sevice is great. The food is really good. There is Titanic/White Star Line paraphernalia placed around the dining area.
