Citymove - Authentic Professionals

Excellent experience - who can say that about moving day? I have had Citymove take care of three moves so far. On time (early), careful, knowledgeable and familiar with the limitations of a difficult building that we moved from. Great rates, Stress free moves. I wouldn't use any other mover. If they had packed all of my stuff, it would have been a 5 star review.

I highly recommend Citymove. This was my first time hiring movers and I'll NEVER go back to the DIY way! I hired Citymove based on their Yelp reviews for a 1 bedroom/bachelor move from Kits to the Drive. Due to a change in plans I only booked a week in advance but the owner Warren was incredibly accommodating considering the short notice and made it work. All communication was prompt and professional despite them being very busy. On moving day the crew showed up early, were all in uniforms and introduced themselves before getting started. I was expecting 2 guys, but Warren joined us as well which was a huge help - it meant the guys could work while Warren watched the truck. Over the course of the morning they were very careful yet efficient and hardworking. They were also quite pleasant and personable despite a tricky move with a lot of narrow / steep stairs and tricky corners. Travel time to the new apartment was speedy, and they placed things exactly where I needed them for organized unpacking, including placing boxes labelled by room in the correct place without being asked. Their truck was well equipped and they easily handled some oddly-shaped items that didn't fit in boxes, and even my bagged pantry items and groceries that I thought I'd have to move myself in a car. As a single female I felt incredibly comfortable and safe the entire time. The move was completed start to finish in about 2.5 hours which left me lots of time to unpack! Overall I couldn't have been happier with the experience.

I moved twice in 6 months. With citymove they finished in 6 hours with 2.5 men. One guy was there half the time. The other moving company took 10 hours with 3 guys. I wish I used then for both my moves.
