Ravioli was amazing and made fresh. Super authentic scene and a very clean restaurant. Bathrooms were clean and service was super quick!! The restaurant has a very homey comfortable feel. Anthony puts his heart and soul into the food and it shows. Price was very good. A must try in Springfield
Loved the eggplant app and all of the pastas. The mussels and clams here in white sauce are divine among other things. This place is family friendly and also romantic, perfect also for a solo date. Awesome place to eat, enjoy and share with loved ones! Can’t wait to get backkkkkkkkk!!!!!! Must eat here if you’re in the area Vegetarian options: And tasty!!! Flavors you won’t forget Kid-friendliness: Nice menu
Unfortunately I was very disappointed. We decided to try this place out for our anniversary dinner. We usually do Cals, Red Rose or 350 grill. We were the only people in the restaurant besides a few people.in the bar area. Took a long time for the waitress to get our drinks and never came back to ask if we needed another. My husband had to actually go up to the bar. I ordered the chicken piccata for my entrée and the chicken. Was black and unedible. I assumed it was subbed out for veal but when I told the cook he just said that's the way the chicken looks. I then told the owner and he just dismissed me and went on a 20 minute talk about how chicken is over prices now due to inflation. The pasta that came with it was way over salted. My husband got manicotti with broccoli. It was stuffed with mystery meat and absolutely no chesse. While it looked delicious upon arrival none of it was edible and there was no offer to make this right. We ordered canollis which were wonderful. They didn't even offer to comp those after the ordeal. I really wanted to like this place. I love supporting small businesses.
I had a beautiful experience here, Anthony and his nephew treated us like family. The food and service is unlike anything I’ve ever had, this is absolutely my new favorite spot. Definitely worth coming here 100% Delightful people, great environment, and overall a magnificent experience. Vegetarian options: When my cousin mentioned she was vegetarian they had immediately understood and made sure not to put meat in her food. Kid-friendliness: They gave my baby cousin a cannoli
Great food great service. A bit pricey but not terrible on the food price. The drinks were outrageously priced for a basic. A sangria should not be $17.50 I Manhattan should not be $16.50 And not even in a big martini glass. Asked for drink menu …there was none … So no price. List ! Otherwise I would have ordered something reasonably priced! This explains why there’s no drink menu because the prices are totally astronomical. No credit cards are taken which is kind of crazy this day and age. They do have an ATM there but I can imagine the rates for withdrawal. A bit pricey for being downtown Springfield. The servers were very accommodating. Thank you
If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, I would. It was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate a large party which they replied yes. Upon arrival, we are quickly seated and the waitress comes over with water. She brings menus over but not nearly enough for everyone. She says she will be right back with more menus but she never returned until she was ready to take our order. We order and then proceed to wait at minimum 30 minutes for our salads. Two salads come out and she says the rest are following. Another 30 minutes pass and nothing. My husband gets up to inquire and is told with attitude that there are only 2 people working. Mind you, there are only 2 or 3 other tables at the time. He sits back down and we waited 15-20 more minutes until the rest of the salads came out. Food came out not too long after but not all at once. It was 2 meals every 10 minutes. My husband, ironically, got his meal last. The food is gross. Not at all worth the wait.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Enjoyed my family’s dinner time together, the waiter was very sweet and took great care of us. The owner came out to our table and chatted us up, made us feel comfortable and welcoming. Great for adult dinner dates. Parking: Had great parking space for dinner time.
I normally do not bash any service or restaurant but this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate a large party which they replied yes and even said they would have us out quick because we had a concert to go to after. Upon arrival, we are quickly seated and the hostess comes over with water. Our waiter came and got our drink orders probably about 30 minutes in. After about an hour they took our appetizer order to do family style. This took quite a while to come out and by the hour and a half mark we finally placed our orders. No one was coming to check our drinks and we had to go to the bar for them. We order and then proceed to wait at minimum 30 minutes for our salads. After 2 and a half hours 1/4 of our party was given their meals. The whole party was not given meals until the 3 hour mark. At one point my mother got up to inquire and is told with attitude that there are only 2 people working. While we understand it’s tough to be short staffed, we asked beforehand if they could accommodate and we were the only party in the place for 45 minute where they could have taken the opportunity to get our orders in. The owner was rude and basically told us to get out of his face for inquiring about our food as 1/4 of the table had already finished eating and no one else had their food. This was an atrocious experience. Go to Red Rose instead.

On a Rainy - cold night we were looking for a warm Italian comfort food meal and found the right place. Welcomed in by the owner who shared some local history and insight into the neighborhood. Made us a delicious starter of calamari and octopus & eggplant rolotini - followed by the Tenderloin Marsala….warm and inviting space to relax in with the excellent flavor of the meal only being surpassed by the exceptional attention we received!
