We had a lovely evening at this family run pizzeria in Castelmola. Prices were affordable ant the service was friendly and easy. The pizzas were great, good ingredients, oh and nice cold beer on tap! We finished with homemade Tiramisu and fennel liqueur. A great place in a busy touristy village.
Crispy pizzas full of flavor and with a super friendly staff. Best tiramisu I had in Italy
Amazing pizza , one of the best we had here , a lot of choice , very good service , good English which is not very common here and good music Highly recommend
All of our pizzas were quite burnt, stiff and hard to cut, but that could have been due to a particular type of pizza and we have seen that all the guests got more or less the same amount of burn. But there is one thing that led me to writing this review. One of our pizzas was burnt completely and was not edible at all the ricotta and eggplant one. It was almost half black or coal you may say. There was no reaction after two complaints that there is almost no mozzarella and the pizza is completely ruined. The service just wanted to prove that everything was OK with it. The prices are really high, and it is pretty obvious to us because we had an awesome pizza a day before for half of that amount of money. Really sad that we were not offered anything. Neither new pizza nor refund. Maybe that is the style they make their pizza, but if yes, then it is not our kind of taste.
I never rate l restaurant especially bad but this time it was too bad. I paid 10 euros for a dry, burnt pizza. I couldn't find mozzarella in it and even though I told the staff twice that the pizza was burnt and there was no cheese, they didn't react in any way. I wish I had read the review earlier. Do not go there :
Food was not worth waiting. It took about 2 hours to prepare simple pastas and leaves with mozarella. Service was not the best either.
Very nice pizza and employees!
My favourite pizzeria in the Taormina area. Hidden in the little Castel Mola hill top, Ciccino’s wife makes the best pizza around. The piazza is usually very animated in high season. The nearby church terrace overlooks the Giardini Naxos bay and Mount Etna.
Great fun! Mr. Ciccino made our trip from Alabama great!
