I was trying to help some refugees from the Ukraine solve a banking problem that was caused by the customer service rep. The customer service rep as well as the bank manager showed no empathy to my friends and proceeded to shoo us out of the branch as “we were inconveniencing other customers.” It felt very disrespectful, discriminatory, and I am not impressed. If you are looking for a bank in Wetaskiwin, steer clear of CIBC.
Simpli and CIBC working together, so even your Mortgage is with Simpli the bank in behind is CIBC, spending million in advertising, but for missing $4.13 they charge you twice for NSF Fee. Simpli $45.00 and CIBC again. In that case I can only say we need much more Covid-19, maybe we cab stop the greediness. So if you like to get your Mortgage go better to ATB or BMO, but not by that organization.Sorry the Evaluation is far to high with one Star, it should be - 5 Stars. Sorry is not available. So in the future make sure what ever bank you go that CIBC is not shareholder.
Called to cancel a pre-auth debit, was told it was all done, got charged for the payment anyway. Then got told i have to close my account to stop the payments and that they have no way to cancel a pre-auth agreement. The bank cant control who can and cant take money out of the account apparently TD can.... Was fun to be told it was all my fault and that there isnt any guarantee on a stop payment and that they didnt care that a company that i cancelled the payment agreement with took my rent money.
Worst bank ever. Do your staff do anything or is your bank just for show? I have yet to get any help with banking done, at a bank... What bank doesnt accept cash to put into a bank account and what bank doesnt allow you to pull out money and! What bank doesnt let you order currency for foreign countries with cash??? I even had to pay off the govt for taxes and their answer for everything is no. Stupid tellers. Stupid bank. I have to go to Edmonton cause these guys are absolutely useless.
They are so professional and patient. They guided me through my new account opening, and kept answering my many questions. Big thanks to Ranjan !
