Church's Texas Chicken

Our new go-to friend chicken place without a doubt. The chicken is juicy and the skin oh so very crispy. The apps, including biscuits and jalapeño poppers, are all absolutely delicious. The portions are also incredibly huge - guess everything is truly bigger in Texas! Couldn’t recommend this spot more.

The chicken is delicious, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The fries were ok but not very hot, the biscuit that comes with the combo was really good. Great service as it was also very busy. Will be sure to go again!

A bit too greasy but, not a bad place for some fried chicken. Prefer this place over the other places in Burlington Service is great, quick and friendly

I downloaded the app over the weekend to give them a try today. I was very impressed at how I think was the owner Brian reached out to me before I arrived to see when I would get there. He then started on my jalapeno bombers so I would have them fresh. I tried so many fried chicken places but this place has chicken with a nice crunchy exterior and was a bit spicy but the meat was juicy. I love their honey butter biscuit as it’s so fluffy and moist with just the right amount of sweetness. After asking, I realized I accidentally ordered the spicy 2pc combo but wanted the original. Brian hooked me up with a couple of pieces of the original to try as well so I took them to go and I was thoroughly pleased. Thank you Brian and Church's Texas Chicken for the great and fresh food!!

Just had a lovely dinner from here with my family as we absolutely loved it. We found the chicken was not too greasy like other competitors and packed flavour. In addition, the staff was very friendly and accommodating even at peak volume hour when they were swamped. Who I believe to be the manager ensured I had everything I ordered and was packaged safely for my journey home. My family and I agreed that it will be our go to spot for take out chicken moving forward. The only thing that I didn’t like was the generic sauces. Maybe this is still forthcoming but I enjoy signature sauces that they would offer!

This place was alright. Just alright. The food was good, you definitely get good portions that’s for sure. But to be honest for a place that boasts about their flavour, the chicken was kind of lacking in that department. Not saying it wasn’t good, but just no different than Popeyes or Mary Browns. The honey butter biscuits are fantastic. The staff were friendly but annoying as hell. We went on labour day and there was a girl named Shanon and some guy that I didn’t get his name. They spent the entire time flirting with each other and laughing at each other so loudly that all the customers in the restaurant were looking at each other like “is this for real??” Not to mention they were playing some music off of their phone in the kitchen and had 1 song on a loop the entire duration of our stay. I must have heard “I took a pill in Ibiza” 10 times in a row. So that sucked. Like I said the food is good, but honestly if there is a MB or Popeye’s closer to you, I wouldn’t bother driving past them to get here.

Staff is really nice and friendly, chicken sandwiches were flavourful and freshly made. Was running late and called the restaurant for pick up and informed the employee that I will be coming in 5 minutes past closing. They were accommodating and thanks Sharon for such a great customer service and preparing the order.

Good chicken and staff that care. I came rushing in at closing after a long day, hoping to grab an order. Although they were 'just closed' they suggested ordering the tenders as it would take 6 minutes, and they would make one more order for me. Super nice, as they could have easily said 'sorry we're closed'. Got home and was happily surprised! The chicken was juicy, crispy, and not oily or greasy like other places. Will order here again!

This is probably the best halal fast food chicken spot I’ve tried in Burlington!!! All the food is always so so so fresh and tastes amazing. I cannot stress how fresh everything always is, especially the chicken and the biscuits. The really hospitable service is also what makes this place so great : Sharon, one of the employees there, is always so kind, so helpful and very welcoming, you deserve so much !!! Overall, I recommend this place 100%%%%% definitely my favourite new spot.

I came in Sunday evening and I received amazing customer especially from Dua and Sharon. They recommended the Mexican Sandwich and Mac and Cheese Bites. The chicken was the juiciest and most savoury chicken I have ever tasted, as well as my order being completed efficiently and fast. Will definitely be coming back to South Burlington Church’s Chicken. :
