Super happy with my lovely hair and all the details! I have tried so many hair salons before, like misako, air plus, aube, hair production, etc., but I haven’t found a very good hair stylist until now! I came across with Teppei’s instagram teppei_kuwabara and found the hairstyle that I love. Then, I booked my first appointment with him. He is super professional, patience and takes time to explain, design and style my hair. Unlike other hair salons that sale you lots of products and treatments, he teaches me how to maintain my hair bangs and curl my hair. The whole experience is awesome. Will definitely come back again, highly recommend!

I have a great experience tonight with Nanami Jr, stylist . I love how she really cut my hair with her heart! Their website has mentioned she is new to Vancouver but 5 years experience in Japan, however, I’m looking for a Japanese hair style so doesn’t matter to me. On top of that, you will get 10% discount! I highly recommend her because I am satisfied with her attitude towards the whole process and she is very polite. Good job and support!

I did haircut and super straightening. I asked for natural bob and back of my hair is longer than the sides which was supposed to be even shorter. The ugliest haircut ever in my life. Some parts of my hair are still curly which never happened in other hair salons. I didn’t realize at the salon because my hair was styled by hair iron. My hair got damaged so bad after super straightening here. Its been over 5months and still not recovered. Ive been doing straightening every 6months over 15 years and its the first time seeing my hair so damaged. My natural hair used to be medium thick and healthy and I am pretty sure they use cheap product. It is very surprising they are high rated.

I decided I needed/wanted a haircut last minute at 1am and I was able to find a slot asap online for 2pm day of!! I wanted bangs for so long and i’m glad I went through with it. I wanted trim/long layers with light bangs and to just get rid of my dry ends. I got my haircut done with Nanami Jr. Stylist and I got exactly what I asked for!! She was super nice and understanding. She cuts w/ great care!! : My hair appt was about an hour like the booking said it came with hair wash and styling. The pricing was very fair as well under $70 for sure. Been a while since I went to Chura for a haircut, but it was nice to see the service and haircuts are still the same great quality. Pricing is about the same as other salons now it was a steal back in the day!. Nanami was excellent, took her time and checked in often.

I went to this Hair Salon for like 3 times and got decently satisfactory result, only this time they let a new stylist, Nanami cut my hair. She spent like 40 mins making sure my back and side hair as short and as perfectly align as possible, like a cup/ mushroom head, instead of actually addressing the style of front hair top hair. There's 0 sense of fashion and designers touch in it. I even gave her my desired haircut photo but it doesn't help at all. This is the worst haircut i got in 2 yrs and I'm going to look freaking ugly for a month until some of my side way hair grows back a bit. I think Churu will lose a regular customer after this because I'm going to look for a new hair salon and avoid this one from now on since Ik they have bad hair designer.Service: Hairstyling

I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Shinji Uchino at Chura Crescendo recently. The quaint salon had an intimate atmosphere that perfectly reflected it’s stylists’ personalized service. Because of time constraints, Shinji offered me a complimentary session later in the week to add some finishing touches to my haircut. I was so impressed that I immediately recommended the salon and had a friend book an appointment with him for the next day. Thank you Shinji for your amazing service. I will definitely be coming back for my future haircuts!

So glad I found this salon with professional Japanese hairstylists. The first experience with Ryuki was amazing. I showed a few pictures of how I wanted, he'd always check in with me whenever there's uncertainty. Although being slightly pricier, definitely would come back again.Services: Blowdry

I had a very good experience at Chura Crescendo! My stylist was Teppei and he was super kind and friendly and chatted about Japan as he washed and cut my hair. He was very efficient and even taught me how to blow dry and style it after for an easy low-maintenance look. My hair feels much healthier and softer and looks great. This is the best hair salon I've ever been to, and I will definitely be returning. Katsumi was SO so incredibly nice and professional, he suggested ideas to fit my face shape and was very knowledgeable. He was very gentle and was careful about each step in the process. The other stylists were also really nice and I love the vibe this salon gives off. Highly recommend going here! Prices are also very reasonable. If you come here, you are in very good hands.
