Very cool place to take your kids out for the day. Lots of cool games for all ages and most of all, snacks and food for anyone of all ages. Very busy at all times.
I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in almost 25 years and I remember the backlash it got a couple years ago so I didn't know what changes to expect. After seeing the place revamped recently, I had to check the place out. I wasn't disappointed. I took my son here on a Monday afternoon. We really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy and it looked pretty clean. A few of the rides could have been cleaned up a bit, but it wasn't that bad. It wasn't as loud as I remember and there weren't any classic like arcade games like before. No surprise. Times have changed. The Supreme pizza we ordered looked and tasted fresh. The garlic crust was a nice touch. The downside of dining there are the flies. I'm not sure how restaurants keep flies out, but not this place. The food didn't take too long to be served and the employees were friendly. Shout out to LaCharles for being so chill and friendly. Even though he was off the clock, he still helped my wife locate her lost phone before he left. I recommend this Chuck E Cheese for a family outing if you're looking for some good nostalgic fun and friendly service.
Good place to bring your kids. Try to be there at less obvious times when it won't be busy with parties. Good variety of game options for all ages is nice. Games all seemed to be functioning properly. Food will surprise you! Good pizza, but somewhat pricey.Food: 5/5
My son loves coming to Chuck E Cheese. I threw a birthday party for him here 3 years ago, he had so much fun he still talks about it. The staff is always helpful and courteous. The manager is awesome and always accommodating. Kid-friendliness: So many games for kids to play. They stamp the whole family upon entering so no one can leave with a child that isn't theirs Parking: A ton of parking always available Wheelchair accessibility: 6-8 parking spots, nice big entry doors, sidewalk has swoop down for easily getting up with a wheelchair
I have always gone to the Blaine location and had a good time, however this last time may have been our last. I watch a male staff member walk up to a struggling mother with 3 small children and tell her they can no longer sit at the table they were sitting at because he wanted to clean the table. This mother was shocked as were everyone else’s who heard him. I could not believe this level of rudeness and would rather try another location if that’s the kind of staff the Blaine location employs.
Kids had a lot of fun! Prices were not crazy and the food was actually pretty good. The coins and tickets are now replaced with electronic cards that allow gameplay for a certain amount of time. Came here to celebrate a five year old's birthday. It was not very crowded but it was a Thursday night.
We are here alot. This is my son's favorite location out of all the locations in Minnesota. The employees make it special for him every visit, and are so kind. Had a birthday party here recently. Everyone had a positive fun experience. We usually do something different every year, but it was so great and well worth every penny we may need to do it again next year.
TL;DR Obnoxious and entitled customers, burnt out staff, mediocre over-priced pizza, no playground, won't be back. I had not been to a Chuck E. Cheese in decades. Now that I am a parent myself, we thought our son would love it. There were plenty of games for him to play, and I don't think the games cost too much, I thought it was reasonably priced, even the food was reasonably priced, if not slightly on the expensive side for what you get. The staff were nice enough, and any shortcomings of the staff are likely due to burnout from working in a place like this. The real negative aspect of our experience came from the other customers. When it came time for us to put our underwhelming pizza in a to-go box and cash in our tickets, we had to wait an ABSURD amount of time for the people in front of us to use their 50 cards all with tickets on them to scrape out whatever rewards they could. It started with one woman and then people I assume know her budged in line in front of us and proceed to disregard everyone else's time. Pulling out card after card from their pockets, being indecisive, and seemingly thriving off of being ineffably obnoxious. Honestly, our toddler had fun, but he would have had just as much fun looking for pinecones in our yard and eating better pizza that costs less at home. We the parents, hated being there.
Great place to take your kids for some fun and exercise. They will be busy playing games, riding rides, and playing on the playground. They have food in case you get hungry. They also have prizes for the tickets as well. Love that they have kid check in and check out for safety. My kids can spend all day here if they could. We were here for over 3 hours today. Games are by either point play or unlimited play/ however many minutes you buy. If you purchase the unlimited minute play you are allowed one pause on the game card for a bathroom break or a food break. You can find coupons online for savings on food deals and game plays. Their pizza's are great tasting and they have a good salad bar. That's what we purchased today. Kids couldn't decided on pepperoni or sausage so they suggested they can do half and half, which was great! Love taking my kids here.
1 year amd 2 year Olds running around no supervision at all was playing skee ball with my 5 year old and this little boy had to be maybe 2 comes up nuk in mouth grabs the balls for our game we just started and just started throwing the balls in other direction looked around no parent anywhere couldn't finish my son's game because he threw 4 of the balls and started screaming when I wouldn't let him take anymore, so he went to machines down and started grabbing my daughter's. 10 minutes and not one person was looking for this little boy. Thabk goodness there was someone at the gate to get out he kept hollering because people's kids kept trying to walk out and again no parents around, being northtown location I shouldn't have expected any less. Dirty, stinky, rude parents I n wouldn't go here again.
