Chubby's Fish N'chips

Excellent fish and chips with gravy. Chubby’s is a well known fish and chip spot among the Rexdale folks. It has been a popular spot w the North Etobicoke locals since the late 70s or early 1980s. Fun diner feel w friendly service to eat in. Recommend.

Well. Maybe its covid, or maybe just a bad batch, but, both of us found them a bit greasy. Portions are big though.

Had the halibut and chips today. They were good with a generous helping of both. The woman working there was very friendly and helpful.

I admire this venue very much. theres a great atmosphere. The meals are tasty. the service is powerful and the waiters are very professional. The pay is decent. very much recommend.

Ordered Halibut and Chips for takeout. Generous portions as you can see from the pictures. The fish tasted as your standard Halibut tastes. The batter was thin and light and went well with the Fish. Did I mention generous portions? Tonnes of fries for you fry lovers out there for sure. I'd definitely go again.

Nice folks. Pollock was good but little soggy

Very nice welcome when we entered. Since they are closed for dine in due to the Covid pandemic, we ordered halibut and chips for take out. The fish was tasty and crispy and fries were plenty and fresh but slightly under done. We enjoyed our meal and will return.

Reasonable prices quick service.. Take out only at this time.

Classic, legendary Chubbys. My mom's used to eat here in the 70s

I love this place and have been going here for at least 20years. The only complaint I have is the fries they have changed and I find them very dry. The portions are great but my suggestion is go back to the old fries please. Other than that everything else is great!!!
