Very good food with lots of vegetarian options!! Love the combinations they have. The tofu is a bit bland and I would recommend some seasoning. Clean. Plenty of free parking. The restaurant has a bright and inviting atmosphere with lots of seating. The portion sizes are quite filling. We would definitely return.
We were looking for a healthy lunch in the area, and we are so glad we found The Chopped Leaf! The salads are super fresh and flavourful and priced reasonably. I chose a create your own salad and think this will be my new go to salad! Spring mix, Falafel, red pepper, Cucumbers, Carrot, Goddess dressing, Feta. Staff are very friendly too. The only feedback is that it is very cold inside, we had to put on our jackets to stay warm while we ate.
Gotten delivery from here multiple times, usually quite good. I wonder if the utensils labeled as "produced with plant starch" are compostable or is it still single use plastic that's just supposed to feel less bad? The most recent time the avocado was beyond overripe, very unpleasant... The rest of the food was so good and our other experiences were so positive we will likely order again, but I'll keep an eye out to see if the avocado is a repeat offender and might have to avoid it.
Stopped in here, on a hungry whim today and was pleasantly surprised !! GREAT location, super staff, incredibly clean and the food was delicious !! We ordered veggie quesadillas, cranberry pesto sandwich and a slightly-altered version of their Bankok salad. Everything was delicious and very filling. I'm a big guy and I was a little worried that it wasn't going to 'fill' me.....as they weren't serving soup today. Excellent experience - we WILL be back !!
Feel good after you eat, definitely a true statement about this place. A co worker and I ordered a build your own bowl, and were surprised with the large portion size. With tons of Fresh, full of colour vegetables to choose from the only thing difficult about coming here is choosing what to want to put together. From fresh vegetables, full of flavor rice and quinoa to home made salad dressing this place is an absolute must try. You feel energize after eating this meal, it was big but full of nutrients that won't slow you down like eating meat. We also got our hands on the cold pressed juice, expensive but you get loads of fresh nutrients. Overall we are very impressed with the staff working, very friendly and quick to get order ready.
My boyfriend and I came here after doing some Christmas shopping in the area. Unfortunately the food and service was very poor, and for the prices I expected more care to be taken towards the food preparation and customer service. The restaurant was empty, we were not greeted upon walking in, and the attitude from the woman serving us at the till was quite off-putting. She seemed very cold like she just was angry to be serving us. We waited about 15min for our food and once it was prepared the woman behind the counter throws the container on the takeaway area carelessly and goes back to making our second item, the sandwich. A few minutes later she threw the second item on the counter in the same way, turned around didn’t say a single word. Last time I came here I was kindly offered a takeaway bag and napkins with my items, but not this time. It was approximately 7:45pm when we left Chopped Leaf closes at 8pm and I noticed the open sign had been shut off - it was on when we arrived. I think she may have been trying to close up early or something and was upset we had come in a half an hour prior to closing. Regardless, her attitude was quite disappointing. When we got home, we noticed the bowl was made with burned rice, like it was from the bottom of the rice cooker, and half the sandwich was destroyed, completely inedible. It looked like the bread was not cut all the way or the bread had stuck to the grill or something and had completely ripped apart, but had been flipped over so the good side was facing up. I’ve attached a photo to explain what I mean. I haven’t been here in almost a year, but I remembered the quality and service being good which is why I came. But after this experience, not sure if I’ll be returning.
Always delicious and very easy to enjoy, staff is great and today l would like to congratulate you on how you dealt with customers on during the outage. You apologized for not having music and asked if anyone can sing; unfortunately not all people caught on it but it was a nice way to engage. Made my day. If the owner sees this comment, give your employees a raise, well deserved!
Happy to see more of these healthy option QSRs in KW. Pretty good selection of ingredients and option to design your own salad bowl. Aside from a bit too much dressing, meal was very good and fresh. Will be back! There’s also an order online option for quick pickups.
This location is by far the best! The lady who has worked here for years is amazing with customer service. Great food, and always talks to you while waiting for your takeout! Nice touch! This I can’t way for boardwalk location.
First time here, I order the Bangkok salad and it was amazing! I asked to substitute the edamame for chickpeas and I added grilled chicken. The service was great and I loved the ambiance.
