Chippewa Inn

This was my first time going. There is the bar pretty much right when you walk in. Then you have the dining area which seemed small,but it was a nice welcoming place. The pricing is a little expensive. I had the fish plate and honestly wasn't what I was expecting. I would go back but only for a special occasion.

Dining at the Chippewa Inn was a true treat for my family on our Hayward vacation. I live in downtown Madison and dine out regularly, the quality of the food at Chippewa Inn compares! The food was so memorable, i know i will be back my next trip to the area...no matter how long from now that is. What we tried: NY strip Smothered Steak Chicken/Pork special w/ cream sauce Couldn't improve on any of it! Don't you dare leave without trying the cheesecake. It's to die for! My boyfriend, who doesn't like sweets, was loving it! This isn't my longest or best review, but i would say it's my simplistic. Hands down, go to Chippewa Inn if you are in the area. You will remember the experience. The staff is great, food is amazing, it was a great way to finish off our day in northern Wisconsin.

This is a classic supper with a wonderful German menu as well as steak house favorites. The steak here beats the likes of Manny's and Murray's hands down, and the prime rib is a tender taste of heaven on earth. When in Hayward, make sure you make this one of your stops. Seriously, it's so good!
