Centrally-located on the beautiful Chippewa Flowage, Deerfoot Lodge & Resort offers nine housekeeping cabins and a nine-room lakeside hotel for guests to stay in and experience all Hayward has to offer. There is always fun to be had at Deerfoot's bar & grill, whether you're devouring a delicious Deerfoot cheeseburger, enjoying your favorite cocktail or sharing fish stories with friends. The Chippewa Flowage is Wisconsin's largest wilderness lake and the closest thing to Canada you can experience this far south. Come stay with us at Deerfoot Lodge & Resort!

Great place to be sent to as a  boy like me, this was my favorite part about last summer. The chiefs in each cabin were vary nice and supported, they guided you to look to God throughout the weeks in camp. The food was homemade and very tasty, and the dinning hall gave a rustic feeling. The places around camp I was most at were built to perfection for getting away from technology. I will definitely be coming back to camp next year.

Deerfoot Lodge was a huge part of my development as a Man. I'm so thankful for the men and women who made Camp work and took the time to invest in me and care for me as I grew. I spent parts of 10 summers here and I look forward to sending my sons as they grow! Treasured memories of this place.

Classic boys camp look and feel. Great people.  Inspiring leadership.  Christian example.  Beautiful grounds.

Physically and spiritually demanding experiences done in a supportive Christian community that teaches discipline and leads boys toward living lives of integrity as men. --The food is boss, too.

Awesome camp!  Son had an amazing time, and didn't want to leave. Can't wait for next year.

Deerfoot Lodge is as special as everyone says it is. 20 years later and I still think about DL often. What you learn here will shape you for the rest of your life. It is indeed a testimony to the incredible team they assemble each year without fail. I can't wait until my boys are old enough to attend!

This camp was an amazing experience, they really know how to fit everything together. We learned so many new skills, activities and grew so much closer to God in such a short time it is amazing. Especially in this world today Deerfoot is super beneficial to helping kids grow in every way.

I cannot wait to send my son there when he is old enough. This camp was by far the best experience I had in my life as a young man.

Deerfoot Lodge is the best place for boys to become men. It is where the formative experiences of my life have been and it continues to build into my life. It’s a remarkable place with a fantastic heritage and great future. It is not a campground or public space, as Google sometimes lists it. Deerfoot Lodge is a Christian summer camp for boys.
