Enjoyed some Thai food in this small but very cozy restaurant. I tried the Tom Yum soup and it definitely hit the spot especially on a cold night in Silverdale. I plan on visiting again soon to try the rest of the menu.
Super fresh and delicious food. The staff is attentive and prompt. We had 2 curry dishes and phad si ew. Along with a children's dish. Recommend a stop in.
New name: Chili Thai, formerly Phad Thai, under new ownership since 10/15/2021. Small restaurant near Ross in Silverdale. Tasteful decor, friendly and efficient service. Ample portions, excellent food! Only issue was the jasmine tea wasn't very hot. Will definitely return soon.
The restaurant rebranded to “Chili Thai.” I ordered dine-in “Fish cake” nice texture, a little bouncy with a taste of curry, and “Glass noodle salad,” a house style, very tasty, not overly spicy. Also, take out “Laab,” “Crab wanton,” and “Pineapple fried rice.” The Pineapple fried rice was my least favorite because the fresh pineapple here wasn’t sweet. But the fried itself was perfect.
Been here twice, and both times the food was pretty good, but not the best Thai I've had. All ingredients tasted fresh, just lacked a little flavor. Granted I do have to order gluten free and lower on the spice, which I suspect affects overall flavor. I love Thai food and will continue to be back and try more dishes. The service there was great as well as the decor, clean bathrooms. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
Tasty and delicious food. We enjoyed their red curry, pad thai and their spring rolls, and they have sticky rice yay! They have large portion. Staff are friendly and nice. Service is fast. Highly recommend.Recommended dishesSpring Rolls, Pad See EW, Beef Pad Thai, Rolls, Classic Fried Rice
It is important to note that dishes may include undisclosed seafood ingredients. Make sure to ask and double check if you have an allergy or aversion. After some back and forth management did try to correct the issue with our order which I do appreciate. I am a fan of spicy food and ordered noodles at maximum heat. Unfortunately the taste was off. There was little heat and instead an overwhelming fish / rancid flavor. My partner tried it and immediately commented on the bad taste and lack of spice. I can eat almost anything, even things I don’t like out of spite, but couldn’t tolerate more than a bite or two. The yellow curry has pretty good flavor and they give a fair portion. I think they have other enjoyable dishes to try, just be sure to double check if you’re sensitive to fish.
My wife and I ate here and really enjoyed it. She always orders Phad See ew where ever we go and she thought that Chili Thai's version was excellent. I ordered the House spicy noodles and it was really good. The place was clean and the service was friendly and quick. We will definitely go back.
~~UPDATED & NEW FEEDBACK ON THIS RESTAURANT~~ 6/7/2019 It has been about a month since we ate at this Thai place. We have been happy with Phad Thai's food in the past so my husband and I decided we should try something new on the menu, and split it, as we usually do anyway. I had the "Princess Favorite." If you love sweet and sour you must try this dish; It consists of: cucumbers, which had a bit of a pickling taste and texture to them not enough to overwhelm this dish celery, onion, bell peppers, carrots, pineapple, and tomatoes, in this yummy sweet and sour sauce. I usually prefer a little bit more of a sour taste to compliment the sweetness, but this dish just worked all around, it was delicious. My husband had: Ba Mee Krob Lard NA, wow the name is indeed a mouth full. This dish consists of Deep-fried egg noodles, bamboo shoots, shrimp, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms topped with chicken in gravy. We love being able to try something out of our norm, In our opinion the dish was tasty but something we probably won't order again, as we liked this dish but didn't love it, to sum it up we felt that the taste of this dish was very "earthy." I am not a huge mushroom fan, and what I tasted in the gravy was a deep mushroom taste hence "earthy." I would recommend anyone to try both of these dishes and see for yourself. Service was great as it has been in the past and restaurant remains clean and cute! ```````````````OLDER```````````````` Today was Thai food day for me, at least for lunch. I decided to give Phad Thai Restaurant a try; I have seen it on many occasions as I shopped at Ross and a couple of the surrounding stores. Phad Thai Restaurant is a charming little restaurant with a lot of authentic decors gracing its walls. The restaurant was clean and tidy feeling. Irene was my server; she was friendly and courteous and did a great job greeting customers. First thing I noticed was the array of lunch specials being offered, alongside a regular menu. So many choices, perhaps a few too many dishes offered as it took me a while to look over just the lunch specials and never got a chance to look over the regular menu. After I ordered the special number 10 which was the house fried rice with chicken there is a choice of meat Irene brought me a small bowl of soup, I am guessing it was an egg flower or similar too, I never did ask nor did she offer up the information on it, the soup was decent, but I'm not a big fan of egg flower soup. Within ten to fifteen minutes my house fried rice was brought out. I am a massive fan of fried rice, so I was eager to try this with steamed jasmine rice that's been stir-fried with mixed vegetables and egg, how spicy did I choose? The heat was between 1-5 five being the hottest I picked number three, just a tiny bit of heat adorned this wonderfully tasty dish. Phad Thai shares a parking lot with several other businesses so parking at times can be a challenge, especially during the holidays. None the less I will be returning to Phad Thai Resturant. **2 days later** I decided to bring my husband this evening to try their Phad Thai; he was very pleased as I was with it. We both have had Phad Thai at other restaurants, and one thing we have both noticed in other restaurants was too much peanut taste, not a background taste as I think it should be. I had the Thai style chicken with served with sweet chili sauce; the Thai chicken was full of flavor, juicy inside but not raw, perfect amount of Thai seasoning to make you want to come back for more. Once again the service was top notch, and the restaurant was cute and clean. I am all too excited to return to try something unique and different in the near future. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of our dinner, only my lunch prior.
After trying the eggplant with tofu, I was still curious to try their soup. So, I took half of my eggplant dish to-go and decided to do the same with the soup. The waitress put half in a container and half in my bowl. It was still a lot of amazingly delicious soup. I’ll be bringing my family and friends next time.
