We do not have these in BC, so it's always a treat when we can dine into one. I love the food as seafoods are my favourite. The place is good. It wasn't that busy when we were there. Their service is commendable.
**I would like to give a 3.5 star. I feel they are better than a three star, and not quite at a four star, that said, I will be kinder and mark four star.** After 12 years, my cousin finally talked me into trying Red Lobster again. I'll admit Red Lobster doesn't scream healthy; although you eat fish, most is dunked in batter and deep fried. Our previous experience, 12 years ago, could have been better by a lot. I admit, when having a not so pleasant experience at a restaurant, I give it some time and then retry, usually not 12 years. We were there when they opened, so everything was neat and clean. We were seated with menus, and our server immediately came over asking about drinks and appetizers. Browsing through the menu, I remembered back in the day, one complaint was the prices had risen at Red Lobster. Today this restaurant is no different than all of the other ones around, with a price increase, although I do feel, some of their dishes seemed a little extreme IMO. We quickly found the lunch part of the menu; I immediately knew what I wanted, and so did my cousin. I ordered the grilled shrimp scampi, and for my side, I paid extra 2.99 for a side salad, and she had Walt's favorite shrimp; her side was fries at no additional cost. Double-check prices through the "lunch" area of the menu because it starts at $11.99, and I can only remember "three" out of the eight or nine lunch items offered at $11.99. Also, some sides require additional cost, but two or three sides do not. For the Lunch shrimp scampi, she brought my salad first; my mistake was that I should have requested the two items brought together. Nonetheless, the salad was fresh, tasty and a lovely size for being a side salad, the dressing I chose was a lemon vinaigrette; yum! My shrimp scampi came with twelve; I consider them large not jumbo shrimp soaking in that wonderful garlic butter sauce. It took everything in me not to drink that sauce lol. It was so good and honestly, I could have eaten a lot more. The shrimp scampi was something I always ordered from Red Lobster in the past, and was always satisfied, aside from the visit before this time. Although I did not try my cousin's lunch, Walt's favorite shrimp, she said it was delicious and looked delicious. Butterflied and hand-breaded large shrimp, deep fried to a golden brown, it looked so good! With a bunch of steak fries and cocktail sauce, who could go wrong on trying that? I can't forget Red Lobster's famous biscuits, although we purchase their box version in the store, which by the way, are great; you can't beat having them at Red Lobster; besides, there is a tiny difference; I haven't been able to figure out what that difference is; nonetheless, they are still very inviting. The lady's restroom was clean; as I said before, it could have been the time of day we were there, although I have been in restaurants that forget to clean the restrooms either closing or first in the morning. Our server was Heidi B. She was friendly and attentive but not pushy, overall a great server with one little mess up, though; she cashed us out right next to where we were sitting, said everything went through, handed me the receipt, customer's copy, and a pen, thanked us and walked away. The receipt that I almost signed belonged to another table and did not match up to the "customers" copy. Tracking her down took a little time, but she figured out her mistake, rectified the problem, and we were on our way. I am glad I didn't just "sign" it and leave. Will this hiccup stop me from returning eventually? No, it was an honest mistake, and I shared this with you because you should always look over your receipts before you sign. Red Lobster is located at 3208 NW Randall Rd, Silverdale, Washington. They are direct neighbors and share a very large parking area with the Olive Garden. Other businesses near them are Great Floor, Target, Apple Bees, and the Kitsap Mall. Have a happy Spring, and don't forget, be kind to ALL living things *In response to the owner, TY but I no longer subscribe to FB*
The service was great, our waitress was very nice! And my husband liked his Salmon, but I got the lobster and definitely not up to par. With lobster in the name you’d expect it to be good but it was very bland and honestly the lobster looked so sick. I’ve never seen the foam turn black before. If I go back, I won’t be getting the lobster. The bread was amazing! My baby loved it and we had to order more!
So today our server Tamika was awesome and helped us get the Alfredo without pasta on the broccoli everything was delicious with the meal and let me stay within my eating program. Service was excellent.
On a Thursday it was quiet and cozy. Our server was amazing and attentive. Drinks were yummy and food was delicious. Great way to spend part of our anniversary.
Staff was great the 15 minutes we were told to wait wasn’t even that long. Waiter was respectful and courteous and served the food with little to no wait and was fairly quick about asking if we needed anything else. Food quality was great…wifey enjoyed her shrimp fettuccine and the kids destroyed their food. Overall family experience was great and my book. Would definitely return to eat here again
We took our kids out to eat tonight for the first time in a very long time so we did not know what to expect.. the food was good & we had GREAT service by a lady named Jennifer, she truly was one of the nicest waitresses we have ever had at a restaurant. Very attentive and very friendly atmosphere, all the employees had a smile on and that does not go un recognized.
As if by design, we decided to go to The Red Lobster because there was no wait for a table and next door at The Olive Garden it was already at a half an hour wait. The hostess sat us immediately, which was a refreshing sign, and our server came to greet us right away. Her name was Tamika, and she was an excellent server. She gave us good suggestions, was prompt with refills of those legendary cheddar bay biscuits, and had the timing of our meal dialed in perfectly. We enjoyed an appatizer that was a lobster and shrimp dip with chips, my boyfriend had a shrimp lovers trio, and I enjoyed the main lobster tail with a 12oz. New York Strip steak. The food was very good, and the only reason I gave our experience a 4 star instead of 5 is because the menu was a bit limited, with not a very wide variety of items to order from. I would definitely return and even recommend others to have a nice meal there. Also, I just wanted to give another kudos to our server. She really was great! Thank you Tamika.
The waitress was the best part of the meal experience. She tried her very best but the wait for food to be prepared was more than should be expected in a quality food enterprise. We arrived before a large party but were relegated to waiting until they were taken care of. When it arrived ,the fried food portions were overdone and unappetizing. The shrimp linguini was not only bland it was tasteless. The clam chowder was an even greater disappointment. The brightest food spot of the meal itself were the biscuits. We have eaten there since they opened but this meal was a very disappointing and expensive experience which will not soon be repeated until they get back to the same standards that prompted us to drive 34 miles for dinner.
Endless shrimp was delicious! The fish and chips was somewhat disappointing, as the majority of the fish was greasy batter.
