I don't understand why this place gets so many good reviews. I tried to eat there a second time, against my better judgement, and was disappointed again. The first time I ordered enchiladas. They looked like slop and were served in a tv dinner tray. I felt like they were just put it in the microwave. The second time I had a burrito and some nachos. The chicken was not seasoned at all it tasted like plain chicken breast, and there was hardly any of it in the burrito. Too much rice and beans. The nachos, like the enchiladas, were also served in a tv dinner tray, and the sour cream looked like a paste that was slathered other them. Gross. Couldn't finish anything I ordered. Please go somewhere else.
I got a Chipotle steak and potato burrito and it had no Chipotle flavor and who puts mashed potatoes in a burrito Worst burrito I've ever had. Just wrong on so many levels. Nowhere that I've eaten puts mashed potatoes in a burrito NO JUST NO
Clean - Tasty - Fresh - Accommodating As a cilanto-averse client they adapt my order - our office has ordered nearly the entire menu - no complaints except they aren't open for dinner - go to fav is probably the steak and potato burrito - guac is good - support this local hidden gem! Vegetarian options: menu designates beans are vegetarian which is rare, they do not have a huge menu so it's easy to spot the items you can eat, cheese quesadilla, veggie burrito, etc., pescatarians will love the fish taco Kid-friendliness: tables in back room are lower, tables in front room are hi-tops, can't recall highchairs but they are probably there - has kids menu options - staff is friendly Parking: 2 signed spots near door - it's in a business park so park anywhere and walk in - patio seating in summer is beside the lot Wheelchair accessibility: If dining in, the room is quite spacious. To arrive, the handicap spot is right in front of the restaurant and there are no stairs but neither the office building nor the unit's door have automatic openers. Perhaps one could call and preorder and ask them if they will run it out to your car take out or if they can open doors for you when you arrive dine in. Dietary restrictions: Online ordering is available and allows you to customize your order but I would call or go in person and they will make sure they address your dietary restrictions. Clean.
WOW- It has been awhile since I visited Chicks n Salsa, still the best fish tacos in the area, great salsa bar for your FREE Chips! I tried the homemade Strawberry Lemonade and it was awesome not too sweet and just tart enough.Great staff very friendly and the place is spotless! I tried the new Ahi Tuna Tostada with wasabi and fresh avocados -Outstanding!!!
Been too long since I've been here. My sister was having a party and asked me to pick up some guacamole. Everybody loved it. She had another gathering the next night and everybody demanded more Chicks & Salsa guacamole.
I've been coming here for over 15 years and I've never once been disappointed. I'm so happy to see them reopen at their new location after a few months off. The food is absolutely as delicious as it ever was. I recommend their Chipotle Steak and Potato Burrito -- you can't get anything like it anywhere else!
A friend recommended this because they prepare their own salsa and most all other offerings with an emphasis on wholesome and healthy ingredients. We were delighted with the fish tacos, the pico de gallo, the carnita taco, and the outstanding roasted corn! Easy parking and access to the restaurant, room to dine in or online order and very friendly service overall! Will definitely be returning!
This place was pretty good. I had the ground beef tacos at $2.49 each and chips with queso. I ordered the $3.99 size queso and she charged me $5.99. I guess the extra $2 was her tip. The food was decent. My friend had the taco salad which was a generous serving. She liked it. We ate at a table outside, which was nice.
First, the owners are the kindest people ever. They are so patient, kind, and go out of their way to be so nice to everyone. They are very sensitive to everyone food preferences, and restrictions. At its base all food is vegetarian beans, chili, soup for example. Their food is always fresh, healthy, and tasty.
Large menu and quick service. They are located just inside an office building. Delicious chipotle steak & potato burrito!
