I love Mr. Sub, but this location only ever has 1 person working, seemingly regardless of day or time. Friday night dinner rush? 1 person. Daily lunch rush? 1 person. Unless you're the only person there, expect to wait. I just left there; there was 1 person already at the counter when I entered and 1 waiting ahead of me. Total time to get my order and leave, 23 minutes. So much for fast food.
Are you kidding me?? $18.50 for two six inch subs, one that had the bun sliced so terribly that it wouldn’t have held the ingredients, the other with hardly any fillings at all. Server argumentative when questioned. What happened to Mr Sub? Last time the requested bacon lettuce tomato & cheese, the server was only putting bacon & cheese on it until she was asked what about the rest. You figure when you request a blt with cheese that you would get, well, a blt with cheese without having to remind them about the rest. It’s bad enough how skimpy the subs have gotten but tonight was the absolute worst. The steak & cheese had almost no sauce, the steak looked like dog food, I guess we should be thankful how sparse the ingredients were. Major fail, Mr Sub, you used to be a favourite.
The bun was so stale it was not edible. Wasted my lunch hour going there then having to go back to get my money back, never again.Food: 1/5
what is the point of having stuff made prior to a customer coming in if youre gonna make the customer wait in the line anyways
This location used to be great until new management took over. The man who was about to take my order had just finished a transaction with a previous customer. The man was counting the money and touching it with gloves before putting it in the register. As soon as he was finished, he began making my order WITH THE SAME GLOVES - no change at all after dealing with the money. I asked him kindly if he could switch gloves. He rolled his eyes and eventually changed them, for fresh new order. During payment, I asked for a plastic bag to put my sub in. He threw the bag on the table and went to check his phone, not a care in the world. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Been coming here regularly recently and I am hooked on the fresh subs! I’ve been a Subway regular for the past 10 years but have started to notice how my Mr.Sub subs taste more real. I LOVE the spicy sub sauce. The couple that operate this location are very nice! My veggies are always fresh and well portioned. Bread selection is usually good too.
What a horrible experience. I went in on 02/25/21 and had the worse service. I understand people have bad days and that you were busy. I was excited to get a quick sub for me and my partner, there was two people ahead of me and I was waiting patiently. When it did get to my turn the lady who was serving me was acting like she was very much in a rush, I had ordered two subs, she seemed very irritated when I asked for extra cheese and cheddar cheese on it, it was like because there were other people waiting, I was a nuisance. One of the subs which was a pizza sub. she didn't ask if I wanted to heat up the pizza sub which I had noticed she had done with the previous two customers, nor did she ask me if I wanted it to be a combo which I had wanted at the time but after being rushed I really didn't want to be there any longer. she assumed that was everything I wanted and told me the total price and that was it, she walked away and proceeded to clear her station she didn't offer me my receipt or really have any contact after that... I felt almost some bias as the other customers ahead of me were not treated that way, I was friendly said please and thank you so I'm extremely confused as to why I was treated this way. My subs were cold and made poorly I'm extremely disappointed.
I tried Mr sub for the first time here and it was the best experience for me. The bread was so fresh and the sandwich was delicious. I loved visiting here as well, the employees were so open hearted and friendly, they treat everyone with such a polite way and serve the customers lovingly. Had a great customer experience. Highly recommend this place.
Unfortunately during this pandemic, I forgot my mask; however, the owner gave me a mask, I was able to order my food, and he let me eat inside. The man that made my sandwich was very polite and kind. I watched another customer come in and the interaction was to open hearted and very kind between the owner and the customer. This place is better than Subway! The subs here taste fresher and more organic. I can actually taste everything that went into my sandwich. Subway is known to have growth hormones in their ingredients and other gmo’s. I would definitely come here again! This place is a must have at any plaza or corner!
I am currently at this location and the man that is serving my daughter and I has absolutely NO customer service skills. There definitely needs to be retraining at this location at 15 Westney Rd. in Ajax! People skills training will definitely be an asset to more sales at this location! I have severe laryngitis and find it hard to project my voice through the mask. He yelled at me and said: "that he is very busy here and that I am making it very hard on him!" I will *NEVER* go back to this location, even if they offered me free subs for a lifetime!!!!!!!!! I only gave this Mr. Sub location one star because there was no choice to give *NO STARS*!!!!
