One of the best dining experiences I’ve had! Both, food and service were top notch. The bartender/server Jerome made a craft cocktail for me deriving from my liquor and taste preferences. It came out exactly what I was craving. The steak was juicy and done just right. No additional spices or flavors were needed including salt and pepper. The food was perfect and it was gorgeously presented! The desserts were extremely delicious. We had strawberry tiramisu and lava cake. Both were incredible! The place itself has an intimate atmosphere, quiet relaxing music, and chic ambiance. The only problem with this place, it sets the bar very high and is hard to beat. : Well done, Chef and staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience you gave us!
Same thing happened similar to the reviews below. Their menu in restaurant says you can order their “cheaper food” until 6:00pm. We arrived as a big table at 5:30.. they waited until 5:56 to ask for our order and as soon as we tried to order from the regular menu, they made up some excuse that they are “short staffed” and we can’t. This is unbelievably slimy of them. Then they say “ you can go somewhere else” after they’ve already taken our drink orders. Do not recommend this place at all. Will not be returning. Only ordered a salad that by the way cost 25 dollars for lettuce and bread.
Like many other recent reviews, I have been coming to chez David for quite some time, it was my favourite restaurant in mont tremblant with a great view and delicious, reasonably priced food. However, we were there last night and I was very disappointed, like the other reviews which I had not read before to find out that their main menu was no longer being offered. Their website DOES NOT reflect this change- it says ADDITIONAL items are offered for dinner. I was there in June and while they didn’t provide us with their usual menu at first, when I asked for it they allowed us to order from it, but not this time. It is extremely disappointing because their dinner menu is NOT vegetarian friendly. There is 3 salads and one pasta dish to choose from. The chef said they would make something special for me, but would not tell me what. They brought me a salad. While I appreciate that the waiter and the chef tried to accommodate me, had I known, I would have ordered one of the salads on the menu. I truly love this place but I will not be returning for dinner again. It is very disappointing to see restaurants moving away from vegetarian-friendly options in 2022. I particularly do not appreciate being misled by a website. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE TO REFLECT YOUR NEW MENU. This is misleading advertisement contrary to the consumer protection act.
Great restaurant for French cuisine. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Don't forget to visit the ice bar.Food: 5/5
Beautiful view of the lake. Had the calamari appetizer. Highly recommended. The flank steak with fries was good. The salmon was also nice although the black rice was a little too salty. Overall Satisfied with the experience. But this is quite overpriced for what it is.
We dined on a Thursday night when there was a singer/ guitarist playing songs which the lively crowd sang along with. Great fun. The server Dominique was attentive, courteous and helpful explaining the specials and menu items. The food was excellent. I would recommend Chez David to anyone. Oh, and the view of the lake is nice too.
Breakfast overlooking lake Moore was amazing. Service was phenomenal and the food was soo tasty as well! Would definitely come again next time I am at mount Tremblant
Unique experience , warm environment, great service and the food simply wonderful. Reserved a table for the family dinner and would do it again. The beef cheek was implacable paired with the Canadian Pinot Noir
Loved everything!! The service was so nice all the time, and the food and desserts were out of this world. The place has a great view to the lake as well. You should definitely come here
It was a wonderful experience. Great staff. The live music was awesome and not too loud. The food was delicious. 100% recommend. The view on the patio looking over a lake was beautiful.
