Chesley's Resort & Campground

We saw Canada Day fireworks here in 2022 and it was better than in the city! Great community feel with kids playing all around, has a boat dock/launch, playground, restaurant and just a fun feel all around.

We came here to launch some inflatable boats. The lady working the front seat was so helpful and informative. The water was great, other boaters seemed respectful and it was a very nice place to launch!

We have been camping here for 7 summers. Great community of seasonal campers that organize and participate in fun activities all summer long. Full service sites. Docks, beach and a great restaraunt! Owners are helpful and friendly. Just an all around great place to spend your summers!

From the moment my wife and I walked in, the staff was excellent. They were helpful and went above and beyond when it came to the food, even bringing us sauces they thought we should try! The food was very good, it definitely surpassed my expectations and was quick to be served. Going in I didnt think it would be as good but they absolutely proved me wrong. If you haven't eaten there, I strongly recommend checking them out.

Awesome time, couldn't have had better lake day. Great place for the family they loved it, and very accommodating, Went over the top for us, much appreciated. Will be back next week.

Friendly! Very clean! Great spots! Lovely owners and a real community feel. Great for families! Beach is nicely groomed sandy and water is warm. Great boat docks, fishing. Oh and the restaurant is a super nice touch! Love it!

The lady who runs the beachfront was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I arrived with my child and knocked on the office to pay to use the beach, she looked up at me and looked back down. I assumed she was busy so I sat on the stairs, she then walks out of the office and walks right past me saying nothing, I asked her if I could pay to use the beach with my child and she responded with “beach is closed” “how could the beach be closed if there are people swimming with their children” I asked she ignored me so I left my money in the mail box and went to use the beach. She came back and threw my money at me and started screaming at me saying “I told you the beach is closed get off of it now” my child immediately starts crying and screaming and what does she do? Tells me “shut that thing up” I will never be coming back here this lady is the most self consumed horrible person I’ve ever dealt with if I could rate no stars I would.

Have been going there for the last 4-5 years and not once had I ever been asked to pay a $5 fee for using the beach for my children until recently. We had gone many times over the years where the office had been open and nobody had ever informed us that we needed to pay since we are local and walk to the beach on hot days. I was willing to pay whatever I needed to owe for the past times, however the owner had been rude and obnoxious refusing to do business with me even though I was friendly and polite... Have been so called "banned" from using the beach even though we have been respectful and have never complained of how messy and filthy the water gets from campers over the summer season. They seem to be very strict on non campers on site and campers from the competiting campsite across the road Netley from entering or using their docks or beach. Yet campers from their site openly walk through or drive through with golf carts through Netley's campground. Have had family friends who rent in Netley that have said teens from Chesley have stolen things in the middle of the night because of this.

I would give this place 0 stars but then I can't leave a review. The owners are extremely ignorant and confrontational people who consistently seem to go out of their way to make sure people feel unwelcome. Of worthy note, the woman almost ran over my friends child with her ATV and couldn't even be bothered to apologize or make sure he was okay. I do not recommend t

Very beautiful camp ground with a really good restraunt that make Pad Thai that's out of this world! The boat launch has a nice set up either a good beach the kids really enjoyed.
