First time trying out their food. I ordered fish bites, harvest salad, and chicken feast. Fish bites, fries and salad are fresh and delicious . I’ll come back for their fish and chips and try their desserts next time. they have waffles and cheesecakes ! This little jem is just round the corner from us and we love it! Good sized portions, great flavours and really fresh food. Loved the fries and the chicken wrap. Really want to try the fish sandwich. Also the people were so friendly and chatted with us for ages. Highly recommended.

Small food joint on Kingsway. Unsuspecting but delicious. Small amount of tables and chairs for dining in. Fresh food, amazingly huge portions for the wrap. A bit too much sauce in my wrap but that's my only qualm. We had the street burrito, spicy chicken wrap and the fish bites and fries. Everything was hot and made fresh upon ordering. I will definitely be back to try their other menu items!

First I have to say they make the best hummus I have tasted in Vancouver, especially the spicy one is incredible. The staff was super nice. On the other hand, their chicken for the bowl was extremely bad. Although the image they used shows grilled cajun chicken, in reality it looks and tastes like prepackaged grocery store chicken. Also, the portion of greens is very small. Update: the food caused constant nausea after a while

I was very pleased with the place, the interior and the overall cleanliness. The folks that work there were very friendly to us. We ordered the fish bites and the fish burger. It was actually pretty good and the fries were very delicious! I noticed in the back the fries seem to be cut fresh so that’s a big plus. The garlic aioli was delicious with the fish and went well with the fries! Overall we were very happy with what we got and the price for the food was fair. I would come back for a second try and order the falafel or chicken wraps they offer

My boyfriend and I get takeout here pretty often and everytime it has been fantastic! My boyfriend usually goes in and chats with the owner/chef himself and he's such a hardworking guy who's passionate about his food. However tonight, my boyfriend and I were really upset at the preparation of the food. The crunchy garlic chicken wrap was extremely soggy as the pickled onions didn't seem to be drained well. It got all over my pants and I had to put the paper bag and a napkin down to catch what was dripping. I couldn't even eat half of the wrap as it was falling apart. The ingredients while fresh, were thrown into the wrap seemingly without care. The fries weren't as crisp as they usually are and underseasoned. Ultimately, I asked my boyfriend in disbelief "Did he really make this?" Referring to the owner/chef. My boyfriend said that two other young women had prepared our order. In conclusion, please please have all staff trained up to standard. We were looking forward to eating here after a long day of work and left unsatisfied.

We had the fish sandwich. The fish was fresh but could use a little bit of salt. It came in a cheese bun and Cole slaw. For $13.75 it doesn't comes with any side. The Asian lady which is also the cook was not friendly. She wasn't too happy when I asked her some questions about the sandwich and I also tried to make some small talk, but she looked kind of annoyed. The fish sandwich was pretty good, but with an unfriendly server I probably won't be back anytime soon.

This place is Very nice and clean looking and has friendly staff to greet you. They serve Local fish and fresh salad. I tried the fish sandwich and falafel salad both are very tasty and I will be back soon.

Very tasty and delicious food. Service was great, chef prepared the food with heart, very professionally and was very hospitable. We were visiting from Toronto/GTA where there are lots of halal food places, this place with the amazing environment and amazing menu exceeded our expectations. Best food we had in a while, definitely recommend

Stopped by Chef Hyve last night for dinner and ordered their Fish Sandwich made from fresh and sustainable Ling Cod. The sandwich was delicious. It was made fresh when I ordered it - freshly battered in a light coating with their special seasoning and fried. It’s nice to be able to enjoy a Fish Sandwich without any worries of cross contamination or having any Haram ingredients to worry about. Also got some of their falafels with crispy pita chips to start with their hummus. They make all their sauces, hummus, coleslaw, salsa in house from fresh high quality ingredients. Also their fries are hand cut in store daily. FYI their Halal Meat supplier is Mediterranean Halal Meats in Vancouver.
